I use these to add to braids when I braid my hair, some of them are way too small to use because I don't make my braids that small, and the beading tool is pretty thick so doesn't work with the smaller beads. The bead quality is really nice though, they have some weight to them and they look really good.

I use them on my dreads. The spiral ones brake quickly, but overall I like the set.

These were purchased for my Middle School son in response to his being bullied over long hair. He likes them, and his teenage Goth sister steals them. If you need to wash your hair often (because maybe you chew the ends) they are a lot of work. If you can leave them in they are much more practical. FThey are actually quite nice, and inexpensive enough if you lose some, no problem.
