I didn't know this was collapsible until it arrived and I'm overall impressed with the material it is made of to make it sturdy and fireproof. The file box is easy to use and to set a 3 digit lock code. The lock holds the zippers inside of the lock area until the correct code is used. You will need the hanging file folders to organize your documents but we have ours in binders so we are using this to store the binders with all our important documents in it.

I was looking for something to keep important papers and small valuables safe, but didn't want to spend a lot more for a regular fireproof safe. This is a great, budget-friendly, alternative.

I just got this file box yesterday and loved it immediately.I added the insert for the base, added my own files to see if they would fit and there was no problem. They fit perfect and I was able to zip it closed.It's the perfect size, not too big, and not small.The only problem is.. my lock isn't working right. It opens/unlocks when you push the button in while there are other numbers that are not your set code (not good).After the zippers are in both locks and it clicks.. I move the numbers and I go back in and I'm still able to push the button and open it. I've tried this dozens of times wile displaying other numbers that are not my code.I'm sure it's a great product and I just got a defective one. I'm waiting to hear back from seller to resolve the issue.Pros:-I like how there is room for files, but also extra things like a smaller box, and storage items, valuables, card, money etc..-Great design, sleek, and solid materials-Good zipper with sealing closureCons:-Lock not workingI will update if/when this gets replaced... and if the lock works****4 out of 5 stars, losing one star for lock
