Brilliant, worked great
Bought a bike from e-bay, front brake was howling, It had the brakes with fins on, they act as a heat sink. General consensus is you don't need like for like, and blow me down, you don't.Fit these, gave the disks a good going over a light sand and wiped over with alcohol, took the bike out and did a series of slow braking, not to a complete stop, and my brakes are silent again.Since then have been bombing down 50kph hills using them with impunity, they're great, absolutely fine and will be using them in place of the finned pads (which are double the price) instead.

Excellent product
Will definitely use these again

They just work without any drama.
Prefer a fastening pin with a nut , but that’s just my preference

Perfect Shimano replacement
Perfect fit to replace the oem Shimano pads for ultegra (and 105, Dura ace, tiagra etc) calipers. Reasonable price and appear to be of good quality, as expected from a brand like EBC.

A little noisy for organic pads, and took a while longer than usual to wear in but pretty good.
I'll get the slight negative out of the way first, after installing the pads I went through my usual wearing in process, they were really noisy at first but soon quieted down, on the first ride the "honk" was back with a vengeance, loud enough for people on the pavement to stop and look, if I didn't cut such a dashing figure of manliness in my Lycra I might of been embarrassed (wink). But after about 20 km the sound reduced, but not down to a level I've come to expect from organic pads, still nowhere near as bad as any of the other compounds and not bad enough for me to knock a star off at this price. The positive: They are really good pads, not just okay for the price but really good. I ride A LOT and due to the global parts shortage I've tried quite a few "off brand" pads over the last few years and these are the best in performance (Summit were the quietest but lacked that final "bite"), i'd rank them over Shimano pads if they where just a little quieter. These will probably be my go to pads on my winter and off road bikes.

Having tried a few, I rank these second only to Shimano's own pads
I cover a lot of miles on a gravel bike so the brakes take a lot of abuse. Shimano resin pads are expensive and (recently at least) aren't always available so I've tried a few alternatives. In the end I've settled on EBC as "best of the rest". My experience is that they brake better than Clarks, they squeal less than Gorilla and they last as well as either of them.
