Great markers but weak pins
I LOVE these whiskers to mark my dressage manage' (arena). They stay put for years and I need only to find them to replace my cones after harrowing. My only issue is that the aluminum stakes (which don't rust) are too weak to penetrate the hard ground. They bend too easily. But I have found that if I can dig deep enough and use buckets of water to soften the ground then they will stay after everything dries out. If you plan to use these in an equestrian setting my suggestion would be to NOT buy the green ones. I realized my mistake when I left my horse in there unsupervised. She managed to pull 1/2 of them up bc she thought they were grass. Ha

The color fades quickly - and it breaks
I bought these stakes to mark a trailer space in a gravel storage lot. At first I thought they were perfect. The heavier nail was easy to hammer into the ground. And they have stayed securely in place for 7 months. But, during that time the bright red color has completely disappeared. The sun has faded it to an off-white color - the color of plain plastic. Only one stake, that is mostly in the shade, still has red color on it. Now that they are off white, it is very difficult to see them against the light gray gravel. I expected them to fade, but I did not expect them to lose all of the color in just over 6 months - and those were winter months.UPDATE 2: In the past few months the "fringe" has all broken apart. See the photo. The thin white lines are the broken up fringe that was originally red on the stake. The orange you see is a scrap of construction fence I have put down, using the nail, to mark the space. They have been in place for less than a year.

Don't Last!
The product description indicates "rugged, durable, and highly visible ground markers for short or long term use." In my experience, after only 3 lawn mowings, these markers fray and lose the red color, as you can see from the attached photos! In my opinion, they are NOT rugged, NOT durable, and NOT for short or long term use.
