PETSCATCH Wall Protector for Pressure Gates, 2 Pack

We live in military housing and these wall protectors have been a lifesaver in our new house. The pressure mounted gate cause the paint and drywall to crack off of the wall at our previous house, and we failed out initial inspection because of the extensive damage to the wall due to pain and drywall breaking off around the gate mounts. These flower shaped wall protectors have worked out great at the new house, as it spreads the pressure out over a larger area and has a softer rubber backing. The gate is still securely in place, it has not moved from my 6 and 9 year old climbing over it to get up the stairs, or my toddler pulling on the gate when she wants to go through the gate. It was super easy to put on the gate ends, I just loosened the screw part of the gate and slid these flower wall protectors in...it took less than 2 minutes. I wish I would have bought these for the old house so I could have save the hassle of patching drywall, sanding, and repainting.

These wall protectors are just what I needed. My husband doesn't even want tac holes in the wall so the thought of huge scuff marks on our new walls was not ideal. We use a tension rod gate when visiting my parents, and I'm always worried that it will scuff the wall and not hold up to kids potentially tugging on it. I found these as a great alternative to buying a new gate. The wall is protected by the rubber backing on the wall side, but the gate still holds tight. The larger surface area of the flower shape might help keep a stronger hold as well. Arrived in easy to open package and pretty straightforward how to use with gate.

These are pretty cool! My gates always slid around on the wall and these really awesome. They hold my gate in place with no slippage! The gripping is nice on the back, and the slots in the front fit the gate perfectly.

Protects the wall, super secure and prevents gate from moving. I further secured ours with screws because we have big dogs but they would hold adequately without screws in normal circumstances. Definitely worth purchasing!

I am actually using these with a curtain rod and quilt at the entrance to a hall. We heat with wood and since we do not use the back bedrooms, empty nesters. We block off so the heat stays where we want it. Any way works perfect with the tension rod. Very happy with how it works and my walls will stop being buggered up.

These work great in order to preserve the wall! I highly recommend purchasing this product!
