Teach Yourself Hindi

The book was printed in 2013 so the copies are over 9 years old. The book i received was very smelly and brown. Coming for the contents the book is more of a concise grammar tour. The author simply states all grammar rules. There are very few examples on usage or exercises. An apt title would be 'Concise Hindi Grammar'. Not for learning hindi

Quite a good book for learning the basics, but it is very grammatical in an old-fashioned way. I normally like a grammatical approach, but here it sometimes too much.Good translations and transcript. Good pronunciation rules. The best thing is the vocabulary section at the back. Have been using that a lot to learn new words.

This grammar book is really helpful. English translation as well. Clear concepts. Go for it. Have given 4 stars as the book looks old. Cheap edition book or old one, don't know. But the content is worth.

This is the perfect companion for Practice and learn Hindi :) This book is affordable than other Hindi learning books
