I recently purchased the Vont Smart LED Strip Lights in the 16.4ft size, excited to add some vibrant ambiance to my home. While these lights have their moments of brilliance, there are a few aspects that left me wanting more.Let's start with the positive highlights. The ability to cut the strip to any length and stick it in various spaces allows for creative customization. Whether you want to transform your living room, create a cozy corner, or add some flair to your bedroom, these lights have got you covered. Plus, the option to switch between warm white and bright light settings offers versatility for different moods and activities. It's like having a personal lighting conductor!The feature that intrigued me the most was the Music Mode. Dancing to the beat of your favorite songs with colorized lighting is undeniably fun. It adds an extra layer of immersion, turning any room into a pulsating dance floor. You can also choose from preset scenes, catering to different atmospheres, from romantic to festive. Who knew a light show could be so mood-setting?The hands-free voice command capability, compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant, is a convenient touch. It saves you from fumbling with your phone or remote, allowing you to effortlessly control the colors, turn the lights on/off, or adjust brightness with a simple voice command. It's like having your very own lighting assistant.

Works great (after I trimmed off a piece that had a short in it, but that was no big deal) and stays put where I stuck it up under my cabinets - which to me is more important because the last strip brand I used didn't! I love that the app controls it and more importantly, can connect to Alexa. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I only have one small dislike about this light, and that is that some of the colors seem a bit off. For example, when changing the light to white, it seems like more of a blue color. I have found that changing I to salmon gives me a pretty good white color. I attached a video showing the difference between the two. Not a big deal for me, and it's actually kind of funny seeing people get confused when I ask Alexa for salmon colored light.Installation of this was SO easy. My husband has taken care of pretty much anything smart home related in our house, but I installed this and set it up to communicate with our Alexa device (meaning I have zero prior experience with installation of something like this or trying to get something to sync up with Alexa). It probably took less than 20 minutes. The instructions were VERY easy to follow and the whole process was straightforward and simple.Vont has an app which you can use to control the lights. You also can connect to Alexa (probably some of the other smart things like Google, but I only use Alexa so I don't remember what the other options were). The app itself is really easy to navigate and use. However, I have rarely used it since hooking up the lights to communicate with Alexa.There are a bunch of different functionalities - scheduling, modes that cycle through different colors, etc. You can use preset ones or custom make your own. I haven't messed with that a whole lot, as I mostly just keep the light on a single color. It is under the counter in my kitchen and I use it more for the function rather than the play aspect. My kids really enjoy that part though and think it is pretty awesome.I put these up in February and it is almost August - so it has been 5 to 6 months. We use them almost everyday and haven't noticed any issues with any of the led lights. We also haven't had any issues with the light strip losing adhesion at all. It's all still firmly in place.

UPDATE:The seller has reached out and has made things right. For that I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars as even though I am disappointed with the performance of these LEDs, at least the supplier stands behind their product and is will to make things right.As the title says, I bought two sets of these to install as back lighting where the TV is. The one downstairs has a bad connection in the wire somewhere leading to the LEDs, despite not being moved since install. That set is rendered useless. The ones upstairs no longer maintain one color. If you select blue, 40% of the LEDs will be blue, and the remaining 60% will be green. Purple is now pink and so on..If you need LEDs that last longer than a few months, find another brand to go with.

UPDATE:The seller reached out to me and offered to refund the purchase. For this reason I have changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars as I'm happy to see that they stand by their product and will make things right. Even though we experienced an issue after a few months of use, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this vendor again.The lights are nice and worked well for about half a year. My main concern is that both sets of lights have started making a hissing/high-pitch sound from the transformer. I installed these lights in both my kid’s rooms and are not used for a long time each day so I expected them to last longer than this. I’d rate them higher if it wasn’t for this issue. Additionally, the Alexa functionality works flawlessly and the setup was not difficult at all.

We put these on my son's bed frame to use as night lights. And they are awesome. The only bad thing is the sticky on the remote does not last. But we've had them for 6m now and the lights are still in place.

Easy install. Customizable. Lot's of light hues. This is my second set.

The media could not be loaded.  These lights were easy to install! It took me probably 10 minutes total to do my kitchen cabinets. The app works well and lets you customize the color you want. The only issue I have is half of the light strip looks more dim than the other side. I only notice this when it's on a yellow/orange color. It is fine when it's on green, blue or purple. Overall happy with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  El adhesivo no es tan bueno pero funciona y la app para los que somos de México es un poco complicado ya que pide correo de E.U. para poderlas controlar desde la app pero vale la pena hacerlo para sacarle más provecho a la tira y cabe mencionar que son 2 tiras de 5 m cada una.

Se calienta mucho, no me da confianza para dejarla encendida por varias horas
