I don't know why these are so expensive but this one is about the cheapest and works great. Fast charge, high speed data, and yes this is the one you need to transfer Vid to HDMI.

What I needed.

This was the cheapest "Intel Certified" Thunderbolt 3 cable on Amazon. Apple's cable is $39 and Anker's is $36. This may be too good to be true. I bought this to connect a new LG 4K screen to a 2021 M1 Pro MacBook Pro. The cable seems OK for data transfer and power delivery however the 4K image seems fuzzy. I ended up buying the Anker cable to compare and the 4K image is noticeably sharper.I'm not sure that this is really "Intel Certified". There are no markings on the generic box that it came in. I'll be returning it for a refund.

I used this Thunderbolt 3 cable to speed up the transfer of files between my old Mac and my new Mac using Apple’s Migration Assistant. I originally grabbed a regular USB-C cable and plugged the two Mac’s together but then noticed that the advertised transfer speed was simply “1000Mb/s Ethernet”. I knew that was way slower than what was possible and quickly determined that I needed to step up my game with a better cable.Enter this cable, which looks identical to the cable I had been using but is actually rated for Thunderbolt 3 speeds. I cancelled the migration and ran it again and immediately the Migration Assistant rewarded me with ultra high-speed transfer of my files to the new Mac!Just like HDMI, we live in a world where two cables that look identical can have drastically different capabilities. Keep this in mind when you reach for a USB-C cable. Some are merely good enough for charging while others, like this, can handle 40Gb/s transfer speeds! That’s a world of difference and necessary for any high-bandwidth application.
