TMI to follow ... These McKesson 4x4 inch split sponges work really well for my suprapubic cystostomy tube where it enters my bladder. I have to get the whole thing changed out every 3 weeks. Consequently there is a fair bit of blood and urine to manage because of the disruption of the surrounding skin and the granuloma which grow over time. These "sponges" are more like pads. The woven material keeps the yuck from sticking to my skin. The first layers do so well at their job that nothing shows on the top layers. Definitely stick with McKesson. It doesn't stick to you.

High quality drain sponges, definitely worth the cost.
These are high-quality drain sponges. I use them as tracheostomy dressings and they are extremely comfortable.
