I actually use this brush to blend in my Covergirl liquid 3 in 1 foundation and it works pretty well. After a while, it starts to shed a lot but that was when I wasn't taking care of it properly. With good care and if you wash it frequently with a makeup cleaner (I recently bought a makeup brush cleaner) it will work like a charm. It is so soft and blends so well. It's my favorite makeup brush I've ever used. The first brush I bought the brush part fell apart at the silver end, all I had to do was put some super glue on the inside of the silver piece and put it back together and after letting it sit overnight it was good as new.

I ordered the brush to go with the Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation. My daughter uses the Mary Kay Mineral Foundation, and since her skin looks so beautiful in the mineral powder, I ordered the Mineral Powder Foundation for myself, and also the brush, separately. The foundation just didn't work for me. It showed every pore and line, almost making them look worse! My daughter said she didn't buy the Mary Kay brush because she thinks a kabuki brush works better with the foundation. I thought maybe my daughter had been right and that I should have used a different brush, so I tried several other makeup brushes I have, and none of them made the powder look any better. The Mary Kay brush feels very stiff and almost irritating when used, compared to a nice soft cosmetic brush.Since I didn't care for the mineral powder foundation, I can't say whether the brush was good or not. For me, it wasn't, but if you like a flat-end, stiff brush, then maybe you'd like it. The price, at least, was very reasonable.

The bristles feel nice, none have started falling out, and they blend my makeup nicely. I'm not great at using the appointed brush for the appointed thing because, well, I'm not so great at details in the morning. So, this brush gets to apply my tinted moisturizer (which I pretend is foundation), my bronzer, my eyeshadow, and my setting powder. No problems with strange gray spots on my cheeks from leftover eyeshadow or bronzer blobs from lingering tinted moisturizer. Everything goes on completely, evenly, and comfortably.Hooray MaryKay Mineral Foundation Brush!

I really like this foundation brush for the fullness & feel of the bristles. However, the bristles occasionally break off or fall out during use, which causes me to have to check to make sure there aren't any stray bristles left hanging on my face when finished. Minor flaw.

This is a great brush not just for mineral foundation application, but for just about any powder type make up. I like it especially for the compact size which makes it easy to handle and apply product just where you want it. Brush hairs are of a fine quality which does not shed.

Just a bit confuse to whether it is fake or not. If it does fake I hope the seller will take this matter seriously. I still love this brush. Easy to apply products on skin and very nice. Now i can apply my Mary Kay foundation with this brush. I already sent one to my friend and she loves it. I purchased this product at full price and this is my honest opinion for this product.
