Long story short, I have tried about twenty different lump charcoals. Most of them I would not purchase again. I'll save you time: this lump charcoal and Jealous Devil lump charcoal are the only two that I have purchased more than once (several times, in fact). Big chunks, good temperature control, consistent burn, good value. Don't waste your time with anything but FOGO Premium and Jealous Devil.

Great charcoal. I use it exclusively in my Argentinian grill. Burns clean, lights easy and very little ash.

I like that this charcoal has chunks that are a good size and starts fast, but I also find that it burns out quickly compared to the charcoal I used before. I don't find that it adds any flavor, either. It's good for the price, but next time I'll pay little more for Primo.

Using the correct charcoal when grilling is very important to me. The medium size of the charcoal is perfect for high heat but still controllable due to the size of the charcoal and how cleanly and consistently it burns. First time trying this brand, but I intend to stick with this quality brand!

This charcoal is excellent, and is sourced as a by product of coffee production. Overall a great product.
