So far, So good
Not finished putting these gloves to the test I'm off to Iceland in January to see how they will perform and if they will be an asset to our employees who have to endure some really harsh conditions.

Warm & Dry
The gloves are great, but the fit is not as expected. Ordered a small but too long in fingers so can't do much with them except keep warm

Didn't Hold up to High Use. Has good qualities though.
I used these gloves everyday for two months in a warehouse where I handle freight.First off, the positives. I liked the way they fit, good dexterity use with hands. They kept my hands warm enough working in a cooler all day. Didn't keep warm for long in the -10° freezer, they aren't made to so no surprise. The grip was adequate, became a little slippery when wet, as things do. The gloves wore down and eventually I got massive holes in the palms and fingertips. They lasted for two months. probably would last years if only used occasionally. I was hoping to get at least 6 months out of them. 3 out of 5.

Nice work gloves for cold weather, between a strong 3,5 and a weak 4! (read on)
I had ordered 2 models from VGO prior to a 10 day stint at my offgrid lakehouse because I am already a user of their products and was interested in their cold weather offerings. I ordered the PU8968FW and the GA9603FW (this model) to try them out and compare. My reviews for both will be similar as I have subjected them to the same conditions, but I will highlight the differences where applicable.Comfort and feel : (4/5)This pair of gloves appears to be meant for cruder work. They have a faux-leather layer on the palm side which makes them a very grippy, comfortable glove. The inner liner is comfortable and warm and doesn’t really get soggy from moisture and sweat. They will get damp but stay comfortable. Because of the faux-leather, there is a bit of resistance when fully closing the fingers at each joint. It makes the gloves a poorer choice when it comes to high dexterity tasks but they are a very viable option for most winter time outdoor activitiesWarmth and weatherproofing : (4/5 …BUT SEE DESIGN SECTION)VGO rate these gloves for -20C. I have used them around such averages and I was very pleased with how warm they kept. I’d say they are even a little bit warmer than the other model I have tested (PU8968FW ). There was one morning where the temperature dropped as low as -32C and they still held up very well. I did not feel cold at all and the faux-leather layer seems to be pretty efficient at breaking cold-transfer from metallic objects manipulation. The insulation is fine and will be adequate while working, no doubt. In terms of waterproofing, they are better than the PU8968FW, because they have palm protection for anything wet caught on the palm side. They will soak up water if there is direct exposure such as rain, melting snow, or immersion, especially on the backhand side material, which is not watertight. However, you will stay nice and dry if no direct exposure comes on them. They breathe well and dry fairly fast when damp with sweat. There is unfortunately a very weird design choice on these gloves which hurts their cold weather capabilities directly (see below)Overall Design : (3/5)I really do have to point out a pretty bad design feature in this model : the wrist area. The glove fits snugly on the hand and is snug enough around the wrist but it terminates very short, with a V groove that only has a narrow velcro strap for closure. Even closed up, there is still quite a bit of skin exposed. It’s pretty easy to just wear the glove so that the wrist line lies inside the sleeve of the coat, and the velcro strap will prevent it from rolling up the wrist, but there is a ‘D’’ shape part of skin that is in direct exposure, while the glove itself is definitely on the short side. For such a warm glove that is suitable in such cold weather, this is a very bad flaw as I had occasions where the wind / snow would get into that area and ‘’bite’’ into my skin until I felt it pretty evidently, to a point where I had redness. I hope they correct this flaw because the glove is otherwise nearly perfect for what its trying to achieve.Versatility : (3/5)Here is a list of activities performed while wearing the gloves with short comments where applicable :- Pulling 10 gallons of water on a sled by rope : No problem here, the rope did not bite into my fingers at all- Chopping and stacking wood : Great grip feel on axe handle, no slip. Nice shock absorption. Excellent palm side waterproofing against ice and snow on tools and wood- Clearing, trimming and marking trails : Might have been too fine work for these- Falling, limbing and trimming trees : The aforementioned design flaw was hurting here. Manipulating the chainsaw means a lot of extensions of the wrists and the wrist got exposed a few times. It wasn’t rolling up the wrist like the PU8968FW, but I was getting cold nonetheless.- Operating small devices (gps, MP3 player, lamps) : Better off just removing them and putting them back on- Snow shoveling : Again, shoveling snow works wonderfully and the grip really is great, but once you’re against the wind and fresh snow gets blown back towards you and gets into the wrist area, you really feel it. Otherwise, would be awesome- Basic Mechanical Work such as servicing a chainsaw and operating a generator : a bit clumsy but got it done without removing themDurability : (4/5)After 10 days of daily use, they are a bit frayed on the backhand material side. The reason is that the velcro will catch on that area and pulling it free will pull on the material and fray it. Otherwise, they don’t show any damage from actual use.

Seem like good gloves but weird/uncomfortable fit
I usually get mechanix gloves, but mechanix's low temperature gloves don't really fit what I'm looking for so I usually had their fast fit gloves. I'm developping joint pain in my hands and it's only visible in the cold.So I tried these gloves, they seemed just a tab bit hotter than my mechanix fast fit gloves. They are indeed hotter but god they just don't fit my hands well at all.In their chart there's the XXL size that I wanted to get, even though my measurements fit the XL standard, but they didn't have the XXL option apparently. So I got a pair of XL.Pros:-They are warmer-The build quality seems pretty decent, maybe not enough to work with but I didn't really intend to for this pair.-Esthetic wise, they're nice I just dislike the VGO branding on them, the fading color isn't exactly "stylish"Cons:-The doubled interior keeps kind of coming out of the outer shell fingers, it's very dense too so it makes it hard for me to fit the gloves on (hence why I wanted XXL). I could have lived with it but...-But the doubled interior seems to not reach the bottom of the outer shell, it makes for a virtual 3/8" (~0.9cm)extension of my finger which is very bad for dexterity.-Being a leather like material (interior of hand) it made it hard to keep my fingers all the way into the glove to try and lessen the previous mentioned con.

Great gloves!
These gloves are extremely comfortable and flexable.I do not know if they are waterproof yet as it is not raining today. The inside liner is VERY soft , which i like. The inside liner is not stitched to the glove at the fingers , so i have found when removng the glove i need to be a bit careful , grabbing the tips of each finger as i pull them off. This is for drying purposes , so you can pull the inside out to dry.The *Touch feature of the gloves does not work , not on my phone anyways.Overall , i really do like them.
