I was excited to get this tea, after trying Two Leaves and a Bud from a cafe (in a teabag, I don't remember which brew). I'm disappointed- this tea lacks flavor. It's flat- no depth, little astringency. I don't think the problem was with my preparation, because I have some teas from Peet's, Lupicia, and Republic of Tea that I prepare in the same way, with great results.I give it two stars for flavor and an extra star for being organic. Sorry, wish it were better!

Probably the best organic English Breakfast on Amazon, and with the price and free shipping, it's a great deal. With other company sites on the net with tea of this quality, you're going to be paying $8-$10 for shipping alone. The leaves are slightly crushed up and not as whole as some may like, but it's full of flavor with a good dark brew color - has a nice amount of caffeine as well. Will be ordering more...

Good tasting tea, but again I have had better at a much lower price. I thought going for organic tea was taking me closer to the taste ZI was going for, unfortunately I took a step back. The quest continues.

I really like the organic part a lot! However the tea is rather on the weak tasting side. I have to use twice the amount for the flavor to be there.

Delicious! I drink this tea almost every morning at work. The flavor is full yet delicate, very earthy, with a dry finish. It has a faint natural sweetness that adds nice balance. Sometimes I add a bit of dried peppermint leaves to mix it up a bit. Of all of the teas I have, this is the one I drink most frequently because it is satisfying.

I've had teas from this brand that I really enjoyed, but this isn't one of them. On its own it's very bland and inoffensive, where I'd usually expect maltiness from english breakfast. I'm blending this with a strong lapsang souchong to cut the smokiness down just to get rid of it.At 10 bucks for 100g you could do a lot better buying a varietal or blend from the likes of Upton or even Adagio.

I use this with my pour through teapot, a basked (2 teaspoons) lasts for 10-14 cups. Holds up to English style (cream & sugar) and maintains great flavor through the end. It is also great in any combo from black through English.
