A Hero for Olena: Delta Force Hawaii Book 4 is by Reina Torres. Olena Yasui is a detective on the police force; but some of the officers saw her promotion to detective as a gift from Daddy not that she got it on her own merit. That was the only thing she didn’t like about having her father as Police Chief. At least he and Olena knew she got everything on her own merit.Olena and her friend Ku’uipo were on a hike with Ku’uipo’s boyfriend, Train, and his friend. Cullen. They were both military and members of a Delta team. Olena was drawn to Cullen although she didn’t know him. As they had reached the parking lot, Olena got a call from the other members of Train’s team, Baron and Shado. They were hiking in another part of the forest and had run across some hikers who had told them they had just seen two men with pistols headed towards the parking area. Baron and Shado were going to follow them as soon as they got the men to safety. Olena sent Train and Ku’uipo to get some picknickers to safety while she and Cullen tried to cut the men off. They ended up arresting the men; but when her Lieutenant came on the scene, he was upset with her for getting involved in an investigation while on vacation. It didn’t make sense to Olena. However, the men were involved in a drug incident. The next day, the men were found dead in jail. Things were not making sense to Olena.What was going on? Why was her Lieutenant on her case so much? What will happen next?

A Hero or Olena by Reina TorresAs the fourth book in the authors Delta Force Hawaii series I have to say this one was heart wrenching but also I have a new respect for Olena Yasui who even though her father is the police chief she wanted to be known for her tough as nails strengths (She has several), ability to solve a drug dealing case while on a hike (She did) and the when a tragedy strikes for Cullen and his team she stands tall and helps them through this hard time. But what hurts the most is the betrayal within her own police office. Can the police force recover from this? Will Olena and Cullen build a life together?Cullen Andrews is easy going, fun guy but he cares for Olena if only she would take him seriously. So he has to up his game to show her that he can be the one who'll be there forever. But when she's taken hostage every Delta will be there to help find her because Cullen loves her. But when the worst happens can the Team recover and will they be able to recover?

Another 5 star book by Reina Torres. I am so glad that Olena got her own book.We meet Olena who is a detective with HPD in book 3 of the Delta Force Hawaii series.Cullen is one of the sexy Delta Force teammates. They start spending time together and admit how they feel about each other.Then tragedy strikes that could change their Happily Ever After.I love that she is a strong woman who wants to protects others and how Cullen likes to joke around with her.It had lots of romance, suspense and danger. My favorite kind of book.Can't wait for Commander Chastain's book.

Olena and Cullen have to work through the attraction neither wants to admit to, needing the help from his Delta team, crazy things happening around her and trying to figure out the puzzle pieces of crimes, loosing a part of the team, family, friend, mourning together, honoring a hero and stepping up to be the family needed for Mace and his brother, keeping you on the edge of your seat, tear jerker, love of family, loyalty, beautiful story, thank you, Dana Zamora

You just have to love a Renia Torres book, she is absolutely one of my one click authors! I love a strong female and a strong male coming together, there are always fireworks. Ms Torres writes with depth and makes her characters seem very life-like and real. She has a way of writing that just makes you feel like you are in the story with them. That twist at the end was heartbreakingly beautiful and oh so sad. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

Cullen and Olena have this type of relationship where he jokes constantly with her and she just tolerates it. He is growing on her though.Olena is having difficulties at work with her coworkers. When she takes down 2 drug runners, it escalates, especially with her now ex partner.Olena has been kidnapped and Cullen and his team are up the mountain. Will they make it down in time to find her?

Unless you a fan of absolute senseless violence do not read this book. If you like senseless violence you may enjoy this book. There was no need for the author to go as far as she did in this particular series and I obviously will not be buying any more of the series or any other books from her because if she did it once she'll do it again.

Detective Olena Yasui and Cullen Andrews, Delta Team, end up working together to solve a case. There are plenty of twists and turns in this book. Who is the real enemy? Chapter fifteen had my heart breaking and my tears flowing. Does it work out in the end? Is the person responsible caught? Definitely read the book and have plenty of tissues.

Love the series but it was so sad that Mace had to die, also hoping that they catch his killer as justice needs to be done

A very moving, even paced story. 2 very strong people firming their way forward and the start of their relationship.Loyalty, bonds, friendships to wronged by their partners at work to death. This story has it all. So sad its finished but looking forward to catching up with the new changes.A page turner and you may need tissues. Loved this story.

This is probably the best book in the series so far. It was a shock and really sad when one of the team mates was killed. Was totally not expecting it. So many twists and turns. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series

Loved Cullen and Olena. Love a strong man that loves a strong woman. Be warned there are also tears but a HEA.
