First impressions, I'm impressed
I've not had chance to use it for soldering yet, but after putting it together, I'm really impressed with the build quality. Though I did find a couple of the screws didn't seem to fit properly, but there were spares. There is quite a hefty weight to this and the magnets see really strong. I can't wait to use this 😁👍(I'll update this review in due course 🙂)

Great piece of kit for holding pcb's...

What's not to like here!
A bit different approach to most others on the market but it's much better in my opinion. It holds the PCB in place nicely. Its made of steel and aluminium (loving it). It has springs which help with mounting and dismounting the PCB but still hold it tightly during the soldering. Like the fact PCB is a decent distance off the table while soldering.

Heavy, and fantastic for the price
The helping hand posts are great, they stay in place and can hold mother boards without sagging over time. The base place is etremely thick and heavy and was better than I expected. The magnets are strong, and I am happy with my purchase overall. There are some minor complains that I think other customers should be aware of:1: 2 out of the 6 provided allegator clips did not come with a tapped inserts making them not usable.2: The LED cord for the light is not properly secured. This is not a big deal for me personally. After reading a couple other reviews where others had issues with the LED, this is nice for me personally because changing them out in the future would be easier and optional.3: The finish on the metal plate is a bit questionable. There's a couple of spots on the label side of the plates that can be described as cosmetic defects. I am a bit concerned on how it will hold up over time, or how well it will handle heat.

Hubby Loves it !!
I bought this for my husband to do his projects on. He is a ham radio hobbyist, who takes apart radios and fixes them. When taking apart a radio, screws and other components all on his workbench. I had seen this mat on a electronic you tube channel and felt he needed that. A cushioned mat for the radio. The several compartments for the screws, and other tiny electronic parts that come off. He can 'see' the components when stored on the mat as opposed just on his workbench. He purposely melted the solder on the mat to see if it would melt. Nope, it did not. He loves it and wished he had gotten one sooner,

Wow...pretty great!
I'm remodeling my recording studio, and needed this holder system for soldering cables, as well as doing some other fine-detail work on some gear. Amazing. Heavy. Strong magnets. Reliable clamps. I'm a pro at this stuff, so take it from me...this thing well do anything you what you need it to, effortlessly.

Great for the price
Yo, if you’re into DIY electronics and haven't snagged this Magnetic Helping Hand setup yet, you’re totally missing out. This thing is a lifesaver, for real. It comes with everything you need to make soldering and circuit repairs a breeze: a 3X magnifying glass with an LED light, four PCB holders, and four super flexible magnetic arms that you can adjust however you need. The heavy-duty base keeps everything stable, so you don’t have to worry about knocking things over while you’re in the zone. Plus, the magnifying glass is clutch for those tiny, hard-to-see components. Makes seeing what you’re working on so much clearer, especially in low light. And let me tell you, the flexible arms? Game changer. They hold everything right where you need it, so you can keep your hands free and focus on the task. No more juggling tools and components.Seriously, this tool set is the real deal at a dope price. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out in electronics, this kit will step up your game. Don't sleep on it!

Well made item
Works good for smaller printed circuit boards. Now the challenge is to find longer rods to handle larger boards.
