Strike Industries 1911 Torx Grip Screws Stainless Steel SI-1911TS-SS

Wow, who'd have thought that something that seems so small and insignificant as grip screws can dress up a weapon so well! These screws were perfect replacement for the factory screws off of my Springfield TRP. These are high quality and very well machined screws. I don't know about other shooters out there but every time I clean and lube my weapon, I always seem to neglect the grip screws and they end up with surface rust. I usually catch it before the rusting gets bad but it's still annoying to see my beauty in such shape. LoL! As for the reviewer who gave these screws a bad rating because he torqued the heads off, someone needs to remove all the q-tips from his home so he doesn't end up hurting himself. You're supposed to stop when you feel resistance, NOT keep applying pressure. After the q-tips, kindly remove his weapons, also. If he can't handle something as simple as screws, the complexity of a weapon must be beyond his comprehension. If some of you do have issues with the screws backing out, a very small drop of blue locktite will work wonders. I hope this review and accompanying pics help many of you trying to dress up your weapon(s). Be safe and support the second amendment. Ciao!

Direct fit,cheap and easy to install

These Torx grip screws are perfect for new looks on the 1911 project you're working on. They can be polished in seconds with aluminum polish and a dremel and boy do they shine up well! They don't come with the T-15 bit/screwdriver so factor this cost in when you purchase this upgrade. Excellent value and when used with the standard Strike Industries Grip Screw bushings they don't strip easily like some lesser valued products. They should last quite a while. Highly recommended!!

The Strike Torx Screws really brightened up both of on my pistols. I cleaned them up with a polishing wheel on my high speed hand tool with a little red rouge. They will polish to a chrome like finish and match your high polish 1911. They look fantastic. I recommend them to everyone that want a good tight fit on their grips. The torx screw driver is a nice addition to your carrying case.

The product is awesome. Recommendation for seller: either enclose the proper size torx wrench, or inform buyer of the torx sized in the packaging. Other than a suggestion for the seller, top shelf quality!!!!

I bought these to replace the flathead screws that were originally installed on my Remington 1911 R1s Enhanced. I would empty 2 clips and next thing I notice, the screws have come loose. I would literally have to tighten it each time I was done with 2 clips. I bought these because they were aesthetically pleasing and I was also hoping that it would not loosen itself. Shooting 300 rounds later, it has yet to come loose.

I ordered these for my Springer Loaded Stainless 1911 and they make it look even better. They fit well and worked with a standard #10 star shaped wrench. Polished them up to make them really shine and stand out. They really do add a different look. These were a great deal and very quick shipping as well.
