25 Basic Bible Studies: Including Two Contents, Two Realities

Wonderful study resource. I used this book in one-on-one study meetings with a Chinese student attending a local state university. It's very simple format was excellent for helping this student (whose command of the English language was lacking and his cultural frame of reference so foreign to our Western one) to begin to understand the new faith in Christ that he had decided he wanted for himself. The patient and persistent witness of a Thai woman married to our Wesley Foundation campus minister and my own contributions among others, led him to hunger for Christ. He left our town for the big city and a job before we could complete most of the book, but the foundation it laid led him to be baptized before setting out on his next adventure in America.I highly commend the book to others for use in one-on-one or small group discipleship with seekers, or new or confused believers. It's very biblical, methodical and measured approach is perfect for such efforts.

Schaeffer's voice is still strong and important today. This book is worth 5 stars and the purchase price for the appended essay, Two Contents, Two Realities", alone. The 25 Basic Bible Studies are only selected passages on the selected topic. No commentary added. That is a plus for me.

Anyone who claims they use logic and reason to dismiss belief would benefit from reading this! It requires an open mind and heart, not a closed one like I had!

Excellent collection of studies! He provides the skeleton- flesh it out. A must have for any diligent Bible student or teacher.

This book is exactly what it says--25 basic Bible studies. It's all Scripture with brief comments by Dr. Schaeffer. I strongly recommend it for new Christians as well as for older Christians who may need some "brushing up" on the basic tenets of our faith.

I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about their faith. Good for basic adult bible studies.

Very good as a starting point for discussion in a group, both versed in Christianity or less so.

Good resource for Bible Study. Good for devotions also.
