Princeton Heritage, Series 4050, Synthetic Sable Paint Brush for Watercolor, Round, 3/0

I use for watercolor details. #3 has a nice point, better that the #2. I like the Princeton Heritage watercolor brushes as they hold a good amount of water, perform well and are reasonably priced.

Handles wonderfully. Holds lots of water, keeps a good point.

Quality brush for my watercolor class good price and customer service* it came bent but was replaced quickly and easily.*Update I dropped my broken brush off at UPS and somehow a return was processed for another brush I did not return ? I did get a replacement but was charged for not returning the #2 brush . If anyone receives a broken brush request a receipt from the Drop off for returns because it may help the return process . The brush it’s self is great.

These brushes are a little more expensive than others and at first, as a beginner in watercolor painting, I thought I could make do with some lesser ones. I was wrong...these cheaper brushes started to shed and fray within a few uses. I watched some tutorials and the person doing them mentioned the Princeton Heritage brushes, so I finally started to come around to the idea of spending a little more to get better quality and I have no regrets! Even as a beginner, I could tell right away how much better these brushes are. They have a nice weight to the handle that feels good to hold and the brush itself is well shaped and the bristles are soft, yet hold together well while painting. The number 4 brush is a nice size for smaller subject matter and allows for nice detail work. I also have the 16 and have ordered a few other sizes and shapes as well. From now on, they will probably be the only brushes I order.

Brush performs as well and expected, as a new brush. We will see how long it lasts. Good packaging for transport.

Ok but overpriced

Il s’agit en fait d’un pinceau Princeton Heritage. Cette marque américaine (mais de fabrication chinoise) est très réputée mais difficile à trouver en France. Je l’ai pris en taille 10 car malheureusement il n’y a pas beaucoup de tailles disponibles sur Amazon dans cette gamme plus qualitative que la série Neptune. C’est adapté pour les fleurs.C’est un excellent pinceau- esthétique avec son manche laqué- nerveux, il reprend bien sa forme- précis avec sa pointe bien définie- il retient bien l’eau et permet un travail fluide.Franchement je l’adore !Il complète parfaitement mon Raphaël 805 beaucoup plus mou idéal quand à lui pour les "loose flowers".
