3Dman 2020 Aluminum Profile Pulley V-Slot Build Gantry Plate for 3D Printers

The only thing I dislike about this product so far is it didn't come with any information on how to put it together. Now I get that most of u will probably know how to make this product up but not everybody does so it would be very nice if the company put in some form of information on a small piece of paper explaining how it's put together.With all that said I think I finally worked it out and they work brilliantly tbf. Runs along my 020 aluminium extrusions very smoothly and for what I need them for they will do a fine job.TBH I'm not building a CNC/3D Printer right now. I bought the 2020 gear to use as part of my workbench/Table saw. I want to build my own type of INCRA measurement system. OK so it will never be as good as the INCRA but I will not be spending the crazy money they want from me.This aluminium extrusion parts are very well made and seems great value for money. Yes they're small but so is the 2020 aluminium extrusion. I'm sure u can buy 4040 size gantry profile's as well,I will be looking at buying more parts from this seller in the near future.

Arrived in good time, and as described...However, I've only given 4 out of 5 stars because:Being a newbie when it comes to building CNC machines, my only complaint with this item is that there were no assembly instructions included. It took me a while to work it all out (even though it looks like it should be very simple!). At first, I thought it was faulty, as it was really tight on the 2020 extrusion (I could barely move it)...and I didn't realise that two of the bolts contain offset holes so you can adjust the tension on the wheels to make it move more easily.I'm sure anyone with any experience building CNC machines is probably laughing at me, and thinking "what a plonker!".

I was warned in other reviews but having bought 3 of these now I haven't managed to make a single gantry plate that runs smoothly on the supplied wheel / bearings. Having said that it is still cost effective to buy replacement wheels and chuck the supplied ones in the bin.

Out of the 4 I got 2 berings has resistance thay need to check before before thay send out..

Even with eccentrics at maximum separation, the fit remains too tight, to the point where a visible curve to the gantry is present.
