I've slept with a fan since I was 12. Been so long I cant sleep without one! The other night I woke up sweating bullets and my fan just stopped working. Im the kind of person that makes an attempt to fix things so I tested everything and it seemed to be the capacitor. I ordered these and soldered in a new one and.... Alas I can sleep comfortably again! I also have a spare in case the ceiling fan or any other fans stop working. Most home style fans pretty much use the same capacitor so its pretty handy to keep at least one of these in your bag of tricks. If your ceiling fan slows or stops working, try swapping this out. It will impress your girlfriend or wife or even your husband these days. Its only 2 wires and its impossible to break something that's already broken so give it a shot! The worst thing you can do is fix it and that will make you feel good!!
