The converter arrived in good condition, and no problems at all with setting it up. It's heavy, but other than that, easy to manage. Very little installation required - only the keyboard and mouse tray. Instructions are sparse, relying on common sense. Very pleased with the unit, which is very sturdy and well constructed is that, when lowered to the seated position, elevates the screen to well above what would normally be comfortable. My setup has a monitor that does not have an adjustable height. A consideration for some. We might have been better off replacing the whole desk rather than opting for a converter. Otherwise a great product that operates as advertised. We also bought the Uncaged Ergonomics mat, which is also a worthwhile purchase.

I really needed to be able to stand to work part of the time, but not all of the time. I didn't want to replace my present desk, and I didn't see any other options that looked as practical as this. None of the manually-adjustable ones sounded stable enough.CHANGEdesk is definitely stable enougth. It shifts up and down like a dream. I don't have to move anything on top of my desk or the CHANGEdesk.The only challenge is the keyboard tray. The built in tray has to be adjusted up and down manually. It's a creative mechanism with runners, and springs. Instructions were way too sparse on how to work it. Through trial and error, I finally figured out that you have to tilt it to get it to start moving. If you do it wrong, it comes off the runners and is tricky to get back on--but it's doable. I think I've got it figured out, but it always feels like a bit of a challenge to get the tray to go up or down smoothly. But it is an ingenious solution.I've had it just a month, so I'm hoping that it's durable... what happens if the tray quits working? But the entire unit seems to be built very solidly, so I'm optimistic.

I can't give a full review of this product, because after spending over an hour lugging it to my office, removing it from the box and muscling it up into my desk, getting the cords all plugged in I tried it and it was missing a bolt on the scissor lift portion of the product. So it would not raise the top properly. Regardless it would've been too high to sit in my chair and comfortably view my screens AND reach my keyboard. I would recommend spending $100 more on a manual generic varidesk before purchasing this. I also purchased their keyboard tray and found it to be unsatisfactory as well.

Bought this about 6 months ago. A little nicked up when it arrived but it works great. Easy install and smooth operation. The Mrs loves it and that's all I care about.

I have had my change desk for about a year now and love it. Yes it does sit higher than the other brands, but that is easily remedied by getting a foot rest and raising your chair. I love the fact that it raises and lowers with the push of a button. I have shown it to a few people who are tall, and they love the fact that it extends as far as it does. I definitely recommend it.
