Cycles roughly at temps claimed
I needed this for water well to cycle a low wattage lamp in the small well cover to keep it from freezing… I guess it works fine - my lines didn’t freeze😊

Perfect
Use it with small heater to keep water lines from freezing in parked van during winter. Works perfectly. Double checked to low temp/on function with laser thermometer and it was spot on! Been using all winter and no issues!!!

Saved me lots of worry and grief
I used it to power a space heater in my motorhome. I used this rather than having the heater run when not needed. As far as I can tell it worked fine. Nothing inside froze.

Warm Chickens!
We had temperatures in the -30's this winter. This handy little plug kept my chickens from getting frostbite and kept the water jug inside the coop from freezing. Just plugged 2 heat lights into it. I love that the lights will come on only when needed.

Great for your chicken coop!!
I use this for my chicken coop. I live in Northern Vermont about 20 minutes from the Canadian border. I use this all winter for my chicken water and heat lamp so I don't have to worry about turning it on/off. I actually bought this one as a spare in case mine breaks because it works so great!!

work ok
Haven't used these ones yet but have one just like it that I am using. I use them on my electric hummingbird feeders. They do go on at about 35 degrees .They are suppose to go off at 45, sometimes they are still on at 50 degrees. that the only thing I don't like about them

4 out of 5
I’ve bought 5 of these and mostly work pretty good. One of them seems to get below 32 before it kicks on which allowed my watering system enough time to freeze up and need repair before it kicked in the heater. Swapped it out and replacement is fine and the other 3 seem good too. 4 out of 5 when 4 out of 5 I bought work perfect.

Not super-accurate but does the job.
I bought a couple of these and tested them (individually) with a datalogger inside a styrofoam box with a 25W bulb as a heater. Both of the Thermo Cubes switched on around 35 to 38 degrees, which is the main consideration. One switched off around 48, the other at 53. So they are not super-accurate but they work, and are cheaper and easier to use than a thermostat. I don't know about longevity, as I only just tested them.

I just recently bought 2 of these units to turn ...
I just recently bought 2 of these units to turn some heat trace cable on/off outside automatically, they perform just as they are reported to, I think they would be even more desirable if they turned off at a little lower temperature, as once they turn on (approx 1C) they don't shut off again until the temperature goes above 7C, which could be a long time where I live. I rate them 5 star, for doing exactly as stated
