Propet Mens Connelly Hiking Shoes

Best shoe ever!
The best shoe of this style that I have ever worn. It fits and it is extremely comfortable. I have neuropathy in my feet which makes them very sensitive. The cushioning and seamless lining do not create pressure points. The light weight and the cushioning in the soles make it seem like I'm walking on marshmallows. It is a very attractive shoe and appears to be well made. Good attention to details like the proper length laces. I frequently walk up to five miles on turf so they will get a work out. If they hold up, they will definitely be my go to shoe in the future. I'm very satisfied with the traction that they provide. The only thing that I would add is a tongue tab.The price was very competitive and the service from Amazon Prime was as promised. No disappointments on any front.

Great walking light hiking shoe
Several years when ago I got prescription orthotics my podiatrist recommended neutral pronation shoes so the hunt was on. My Rockport casuals/dress and my Brooks Dyad's fit that bill but I wanted a lace up sneaker type walking/light hiking shoe. I read recommendations on some orthopedic sites for Propet so I contacted Propet direct. They assured me the Connelly checked all the boxes and if I wasn't 100% satisfied they could be returned on their dime no questions asked. That pair lasted me many years walking at work until the soles wore down and were then used for yard shoes. I retired a few years ago and bought a 2nd pair I wear for daily outdoor activities but wanted a spare pair that looked nicer for weekend casual wear. Propet did not show the Connelly lace up on their website so I was really disappointed until I saw these on Amazon in my normal size 11 5E at a good price so I jumped on them. They arrived today, which was much sooner than expected, were in the described "New Condition" and the fit is perfect. These shoes feel really good are great for most outdoor activities including light trail walking but I would not recommend them for hard core hiking in extreme terrains. If you have Propet Connelly lace ups this may be your last chance to get a spare pair as Propet doesn't know if they'll ever return to their website.

One of the few excellent wide shoe makers. They last a long time.
I have a pair I've been wearing and working in daily since 2018 and they are still ok. They just last. I decided I better get another pair before they change or don't make them any longer. I also got a pair of Ridge Walkers for terrain/hiking.They are tough, comfortable an durable.

Great shoe for the money
This is my second pair of Connelly Walking Shoes. They were about 10 years old and starting to show some wear so I figured it was time to replace them. The first ones were a lighter and had a thinner sole. These are built more like a hiking boot but still have the comfort and support of my older ones. I like the brown color so I can wear them to work with khakis. They do take a couple of days to break in but after that they feel even better.

As well-made as more famous brands
I was nervous about buying these shoes, as I've never heard of this brand. They are cheap, and I only bought them because they come in very wide sizes. They seem properly made and are comfortable. If you have bought Columbia or Merrell brand shoes these will seem very familiar. I haven't worn them enough to see how durable they are; the materials seem similar to the other brands. I would call them a 'light hiker', ideal for a weekend walk, but not 'serious enough' for long treks in rough terrain.

Great shoes and boots by Propet
As described. Great shoes. Use in a auto repair environment with gas and oil. Outlast work boots and shoes meant for these types of chemicals. I have the boots as well. Used them all winter. By now I would have been on my 2nd if not 3rd pair.?Long lasting soles and upper part. Will be using the same boots next winter. I expect the shoes will last a couple of years as well.
