Easy to make and very cute. They last too. A little pricey though.

One worked.
The orange turtle turned out perfect! Very cute, and made my son very happy. My daughter and I, however, were very disappointed when even after 48 hours not a single crystal had formed on the green turtle. Not even in the container, whereas with the orange one, crystals had occupied the entire bottom and even up the sides of the figurine (but were easily scraped away.)So.. 2.5 stars if I could.

Very cute and actually works when you follow directions.
This is a cute product that actually works. I was honestly a little shocked how nicely the crystals grew on the turtles. However, the process is not entirely child friendly - boiling hot water, chemicals that can burn skin and eyes, etc. Overall it’s a cute gift for a science loving kid.
