Great book and easy to read!
My son (5) loves the elephant and piggie books. We have them all. This one is amazing as well. He finds this book easy to read and entertaining. Easily a level 1 book for kids. Would recommend for younger kids as well. My 2yr old loves it and actually stays seated to listen to the entire book while his brother reads.

Kinder Graduation Gift
Gave these books as a kindergarten graduation gift and they are perfect books for the kids to read about growing up. Highly recommend.

We Love It!
What a fun story! My family loves Mo Willems and his wonderful characters! Elephant, Piggie, and, of course, Pigeon! This book shows blades of grass, characters, of all shapes and sizes, growing. They grow all in their own unique way, and speed! Very sweet and clever story telling! My children are huge fans of the author, and now have a new favorite story!

it gets kids learning how to use the superlative which is fun.: ) But more than anything
Our 4 year old loves this book. He likes to read along with us. For a language development perspective, it gets kids learning how to use the superlative which is fun. :) But more than anything, I like the premise of this book- the idea of kids growing together and owning their individuality. It's so cute! After reading, our son likes to point out the Pigeon in the very back among Elephant and Piggie (inside back cover).

My 4 year old likes it
I thought it was an Elephant and Pig book but it's not really. It's got about 5 total pages of Elephant & Pig saying how they're about to read a book about grass, and then it's just this book (which has nothing to do with Elephant & Pig). It's not my favorite, but my 4 year old son really likes it so i guess i can't give it too bad of a rating. It's a hard-cover book with "regular" paper pages.

How much fun!
Students thoroughly enjoyed the story. Lessons behind the story is really of great growth; acceptance of each other as one is and everyone is special in their way. Every student was able to relate.

Four year daughter and I are huge fans
Just like Mo Williems, Laurie Keller's writes so that the words flow out or your mouth easily and will entertain your child to the end. Illustration is well done too. Five stars for sure. I bought this for my daughter when she turned four since she's eager to continue to grow.

Cute!
This is such a cute book! It went nicely with my lessons on growth/growing and planting with my kindergartens. It’s also a nice story about how everyone is good at something. I definitely recommend this book for the littles! :)

Disturbing illustrations, uninteresting text
My 2-year-old didn't like it. She never let me finish reading it and never picked it up again. I didn't like the illustrations either, nor the text. I didn't quite understand the good reviews.

Bright funny pictures
Not very easy to read as its in a kind of cartoon format but the pictures are amusing. Not one I would try to read to my class of 3/4 year olds again.
