Wait For It...
Ordered these hoping I would get a 'good' unit without any problems identified in these Reviews. Plugged in after arriving and waited 3 days and the charging lights were still red (charging)!! Decided to use the remotes to see where the charge level was at and they, both remotes, were fully charged... Even though the charging lights were still red (charging) when the remotes were in the charger. Played games for a couple days, without recharging remotes, and when I put the remotes back in charging station the lights went red again (charging). The next morning both charging lights were green, fully charged!! I've been using the remotes for about two weeks now and the charger seems to be functioning correctly. They both charge (red light) after using remotes, and are fully charged (green light) when I get up the next morning. I guess the batteries, included with the charging station, need to be 'cycled' for a couple days (use em - charge em) before the charging station starts working properly. I ALMOST SENT THIS BACK when they didn't work initially but gave it a couple days and it works great now.. Recommend when you initially use the batteries, included with the charging station, you initially charge them overnight (at least 12 hours) then use the remotes until they are almost dead before recharging them again. That seems to get the Charging Station calibrated correctly and recharging the remotes works as should - red light while charging and green light when fully charged.

Review after 2 years of usage
I won't say what everyone has already said. I like the product and continue to use it. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for such a product.I keep this in my bedroom where i have my gaming setup and I wish I could keep it elsewhere cause the LEDs are too bright lol. If you have keep this in your living room, you got free night lights!I mostly use the same controller and pick up the second one once in a 6 months or so. And I never remove the controller from the docking station. After 2 years I think the batteries on the second controller suffered some damage and was not able to deliver enough energy under high load and the controller just kept switching off instantly. I use the controllers wirelessly and I have headphones connected to them. I verified it is the battery's problem by switching them and observing the same behavior on the other controller.Anyways, luckily they sell the batteries separately and you can find the link to it on this page. If they didn't I would have gone to another brand in which the batteries themselves were easily accessible from the battery pack and I could swap them out with something more reliable, like Insignia's.But I hear their charging station delivers irregular power. So for now I'll just spend $14 on the battery packs from sliq!

A Good Product
The biggest feature that I am looking forward to is the end to endless battery changes. I really appreciate the fact that the controllers for our XBox One can be used and then set on the charging station, thereby keeping the room somewhat tidy AND controllers ready to go. The fact that the unit purportedly stops charging once the battery pack keeps my mind at ease. The reason there are four stars instead of 5 is due to a combination of three factors, each of which individually would not be a major concern. First, the unit delicate and cheaply made (given the lower cost, this is not a surprise). Second, the LED around the unit stays on whether or not there are controllers being charged (which can be remedied by unplugging the unit when not being used, as others have mentioned). Third, the color of the battery packs does not match that of the controllers. The battery packs come across somewhat grayer, the same color as if the controllers had been used for months with unclean hands. The above being what it is, I am still completely satisfied with my purchase at this point. The unit does what it said that it would do, and game play has been uninterrupted at this point. I'lll update this post in the future if something changes, but for now, I would buy this product again.

Better than I thought.
Lasted a little over a year. I'm a heavy user, so the batteries should last a lot longer for the average gamer. The batteries charged fast, the charging station was easy to use and set up. No regrets. I do wish the batteries would fit into the charging station a little easier. Felt like I had to have the perfect angle for the pack to charge.

Best $20 I Spent!
The product you are about to talk to yourself about purchasing is indeed a well useful item to have in a gaming environment. You decided to check the reviews to see the pros and cons of this product. I can assure you one thing, this item is a MUST! When setting this up it was to easy. All it takes to power is an empty USB port on your console. The rechargeable battery packs fit like a charm, but the most important part is the charging process. Takes about 10 - 20 mins from a dead battery to a live battery (give or take). Also, the RBG effect on the side from red to green is pretty interesting. When the item sees that the battery is full it changes from red-yellow-green slowly and very smoothly. As previously said, this item is a MUST for your gaming environment.PS: You can leave the controllers on the charging stations without worrying about the batteries losing their charge. the product makes sure to stop charging the batteries when it reaches max charge.
