Works perfect with XT crank and Race Face Narrow Wide
I bought these after have a really difficult time removing my stock Shimano bolts. I finally replaced my old Race Face NW ring after a few years. The old bolts were frozen and I had to soak them with PB blaster in Oerter to get them free. The fact that these use an allen both front and back is awesome! I have a XT 2x crank that I've converted to a 1x. These bolts fit perfectly. The set comes with 5 bolts. I only needed 4 so I have a spare. They also come with spacers, which I didn't need for my setup. For the price, these are fantastic and way better than the stock Shimano chainring bolts.

High Quality
A few dollars more than some Chinese options but they are quality bolts. Universal fit so worked great with my Praxis crankset on my Specialized bike. Also has loctite already applied to each bolt.

Double Allen-Wrench Chainring Bolts
This is a fabulous product that is very well designed.I have been riding bikes for 40+ years and have always had to install Chainring Bolts using a 5mm Allen and the Slot Tool to tighten. This system uses 2 Allen Wrenches (5mm and 6mm). It works perfectly and fits double chainring and/or single using the washer.I used it on my single fixed gear and it works perfectly. Easy to tighten and thread-prep keeps bolt from loosening.Sure wish this system by TruVativ was available years ago.

Works
Simple, easy, and works. The washers allowed me to secure my chainring to convert my 2011 rockhopper from a 3x9 to a 1x9. Also, like everyone else mentioned- the design on these just makes sense. 2 Allen keys and you are good to go.

Nice looking and much easier to use than regular chainring bolt sets.
I bought some new Shimano cranksets that had Torx chainring bolts that I didn't like and required a chainring nut wrench that I don't like either. These Truvativ chainring bolts use a 5mm hex key on the bolt and 6mm hex key on the nut making the installation and tightening of these bolts less clumsy. The bolt is steel and the nut is aluminum so it's important to tighten these bolts carefully to avoid stripping out the aluminum nut. I've started with 8 N-m and I'll check on the them after I've got some more miles on them. If there's a problem, I'll update this review. These come in silver and black. I use silver with my black chainrings and vice versa.

Brilliant Design
Brilliant design. Being able to use two different allen keys to tighten and loosen these is so much better than Shimano's design. There is no slippage and I'm not worried about warping or rounding the edges on the special tool needed for the other types of chainring hardware. And these come with spacers so if you're doing a 3x to 1x conversion you'll be able to get everything sorted no problem. For anyone who is interested, I converted my 2008 Specialized Rockhopper 29 from a 3x to 1x. That's a Shimano M341, 22/32/44 teeth set. I replaced it with the Race Face Narrow Wide (34 tooth) and used this hardware. I read online to torque these to 75-90 in lbs. I went for 80 and they feel solid. Lastly, Race Face also makes a tab shim if you don't want to use these TruVativ washers.See terrible, low-quality pic.

Why is this still not the OEM standard?
As many other reviewers have remarked: the old standard chainring bolts are one of those bits of cycling engineering that should've long ago been consigned to the waste bin of poor design. Whoever thought that making chainring bolts where one side required this oddball flathead screwdriver with a few mm from the center missing was a good idea? Glad SRAM came along and said enough is enough. My only gripe with these is that even buyinng the single-speed size bolts you will most likely need to use the spacers and the spacers do not really work as intended. If you put them on the inside of the chainring (facing frame), its very likley that they will stick out too far and hit your chainstay. However, putting the spacers on the outside looks pretty wonky since they also stick way out here and the inner diameter of the spacer is a little too big for the outside bolt. Putting them in the middle between the chainring and the crankarm mount points is the worst of the 3 options and will mess up your chainline as well as make the whole setup look janky. But.......still better than needing that stupid special flathead screwdriver!!

Only came with 4 spacers
These worked as needed but they were missing a spacer which meant an extra trip to the bike shop.
