6" Rigged Cedar Plugs - 6 Pcs w/Lure Bag

Good lures in a variety of colors that worked well for catching dorado and tuna in Mexico. Packaging them in their own case was an added bonus.

Hoochie/squid seem to catch more fish but if there’s lots of fish around these are durable and you won’t lose many fish

So I was a little skeptical as I have always done well with other trolling lures. 30 mins out of port and I was hooked up to a nice wahoo. That day we caught six mahi and one wahoo and four of those fish were caught on the cedar plug ( green and yellow). These plugs move so erratically they drive the fish to an intense strike. You can see the damage they did. They hit this lure so hard. I hope it holds up, but for the price more then willing to order again. Also, saw some things online about losing hook ups but didn't have that happen once ( maybe just good luck). I am sold and am a believer now. If you have never used them and are on the fence TRY THEM.

I caught Yellowtail and Dorado with them. One day, I couldn't keep up as my 2 lines kept getting hit

These plugs are quality! Look at the leader loop at the one on top of the pic compared to store bought plugs elsewhere on the lower item... enough said!! The rest of the plug is just as good a quality as you'll find anywhere. Will definitely buy again.

The hooks attached to these plugs lose their barbs after only hours in salt water. The steel must be very low grade. How any company can produce such useless junk is hard to understand.

Edit:These are very good lures but the hooks are really poor. The barb breaks off very easily so you'll only get a couple of uses out of them if that. Unfortunately due to the shape of the lure I haven't been able to find replacement hooks for them, so the lures are now useless.Original review:Genuinely great lures for the price.They dart around in the troll and attract lots of interest from dorado to tuna to wahoo.I threw the red/white one out on my way back in on an overcast day thinking I'd try and hook a dorado, and ended up pulling in a decent sized yellowfin! Not bad for a lure that cost 1/6 of the total.I've been using these in Ascension Island and they've been great for pelagics

These cedar plugs are VERY poor quality. Definitely not worth the asking price.The hooks are very poor. The paint on the plugs is very poor quality and also chipped.The monofilament line has been badly crimped.I have had to sand the plugs, repaint and rig the plugs my self.Would of returned but bought from US and I’m in UK and couldn’t be bothered with hassle.Overall - very disappointed.
