Tye Works Small Fire Pan Package - A Complete Firepan for Camping and Rafting

Bought this for my son who just completed a three week camping trip up and down the west coast. He really liked this as besides the primary fire pan use it provides a hibachi-style grilling capability, and also works well for Dutch oven cooking. Just set your Dutch oven on the bottom of the steel pan rather than the grate. He used it more for cooking than just as a fire pan. It is well made and packs up to the size of a lasagna pan, which is smaller and easier to pack than the other portable grills we looked at. This package also came with a nylon carrying case that was slightly oversized (probably geared toward the larger fire pans) and was helpful in keeping the car clean as he drove from spot to spot. We seasoned the grilling grate prior to first use by brushing it with oil and putting it in the oven for an hour at 425 degrees, and had no problems with food sticking. We had a few questions before we purchased and the seller was very responsive.
