The Brie Collection (Novels 1-3)

If you are not into BDSM, D/s, multiple partners & extremely hot sex, this book is not for you! That being said....Wow!! Brie is 23 yrs old, a little naive about the world. Until she meets a very handsome man (Sir) who gives her a business card about a training center. She didn't know much about the lifestyle, but loves to Google stuff. She's reluctant at first to fill out paperwork, then fills it out for fun, before making up her mind to submit it. After that, be prepared for a wild ride! The sex is incredible & detailed. It's almost like going thru the whole experience with Brie, learning different scenes, tools, etc.

I didn't dislike anything about this book at all. I love the fine details written. And as far as recommending this book. I have already sent it to 3 friends before I got all the way through the first book. I hope there are more stories of Brie.

Liked the subject matter and storyline. But it amazes me that so many of these books have been published without someone pointing out some errors that are simple to fix. The most noticeable is dropping the word “that” after the use of “the fact”. It changes the whole structure of the sentence. This wouldn’t be a big deal if the story were written for fun, but to publish it this way could be seen as amateurish or even poor quality writing. And the more books that are published with this problem, the more new writers will make the same mistake, believing that because it is published it is correct. It shows disrespect for the craft.

I love this series so much this is m third time reading from the beginning . how brie meets her sir at the smoke shop to the submissive center to her collaring

This writer has a perfect way with words. Typically I do not read I finished three books in two weeks and that’s a record for me!

I love the style of this author. It keeps me engaged. Can't wait to continue on with the series. Eeek!

I was skeptical of this story when I first saw it but after reading this box set I am hooked! The way Red writes about the BDSM world is intriguing and sexy. Brie's journey when entering this lifestyle is curious, yet hesitant. Brie's discovery of her submission opened her eyes to so much excitement and failed attempts but she didn't give up or let it defeat her. Sir and the other trainers, Doms, and Domme's have helped her become the person that is more confident and adventurous but her defiance child also be her downfall.Brie's relationship with Sir is forbidden but that doesn't stop her from reaching for what she wants. All of the amazing characters that she encounters makes this story so much more and I can't wait to continue with the next set and see what new adventures are in store for everyone.

Loved every minute of this set, and I’m excited to see where things go with a few characters. Definitely not a book for those who lack appreciation for BDSM romance stories.

While the sex and most of the scenes are written quite well I found the non consensual sex and 'pushing of boundaries ' disturbing. The idea that a sub will have sex with anyone she is told to, wherever and with an audience goes against my idea of safe, sane and consensual. Having full, penetrative, sex with a partner specifically listed as a hard limit at the first session was wrong as there could have been valid reasons for the preference. Trust must be built and I find this approach can be misinterpreted by would be dom / domes who over estimate their experience and jump in to things way too early. It really doesn't matter how many times the words experienced and controlled are used in the story. I did read it to the end, and while the only depiction of a D/s relationship was a 24/7 one and the use of titles rather than names prevailed until the last few pages, it was quite well written with mostly well drawn characters.

I've got a free kindle copy of this book.While it is clear that the author's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the various BDSM practises and all the ritual and 'philosophy' behind, and I do appreciate it, I also found their characters rather bi-dimensional: yes, it is true that their feeling and emotions are deeply explored during every sexual encounter, but outside of that there's little to nothing about Brie's real life ( or any body else in there, for what that matters). Everything seems to be built around the sexual moments. A constant, repetitive description of sexual acts that no matter how they always end up being a fantastic, romantic-like, experiences.Different from much of the erotica I read so far, and quite informative too, I like the simple, direct and straight to the point author's style.A great read for the lovers of the genre, and anyone who feels that need to know more about the Bdsm world and it's practise.

I really enjoyed these first 3 books in Brie’s Submission. I must admit sometimes I can be weary of BDSM books after the whole 50 shades thing. However after reading this boxset 50 shades is tame in comparison but this series does show the real world of BDSM and training for both Dom’s & Sub’s. Also knowing the author is an actual sub makes me understand the first hand knowledge she has to write books on this. It’s not just about sex which can be off putting in some books this tells the start of a journey for both Brie as a sub but link in with other characters from all sides of BDSM. I personally really enjoyed reading this box set so much so I have just bought box sets (4-6/7-9/10-12) and I’m going to start on book 4 after this review.

This book was my in between book, I went back to this when I had finished a series.This was a bit far fetched for me, unable to see how someone can serve someone and do everything on their command. This is a life style choice that suit some and part of me commends that someone can hand over that kind of controlWhat I did love about this book was what it taught me about myself!!!!! It left Mr questioning my own sexual preferences, what I liked and did not like. Some of the scenes on this book were fantastic and others not so.This is my first time reading anything be Red Phoenix, and I will read more in the hope that they are as enjoyable as this, but more so to help me understand and explore myself more.

Well, this trilogy is not what I thought!!First, I was unaware just how explicit and well written this series would be.Second, I couldn't get my head around this lifestyle, Dom/Sub. I did not relate to the sub at all. However, although Doms weren't really explored, I was able to understand this side better so decided to stick with reading the trilogy.Thirdly, I became addicted to the characters and have now downloaded the next series. I am enthralled with how the main characters lifestyles will move forward.At the end of this trilogy I have become obsessed and I'm excited to read the next trilogy.
