I laughed when I chose 5 stars for scent. Holy Moly, if you need to clear your nasal passages, this stuff will do it. I would caution you to hold it at arm's length for a first whiff and see if you can get it any closer. ha haJust a tiny bit is enough for flavor so it lasts a long time = value for money.

Holy Dungy Idols, this is it. My sinuses are finally clear. I put a little on some leftover cooked salmon and I’ve rocketed to heaven. This stuff is amazing. I had no idea it was chilled so didn’t open the package right away leaving it sit a few hours on the kitchen counter, but the chill packs were so good that they kept it cold and potent. I’m definitely buying it again and may even hit every meat market around for iodine free salted pig casings in a small 1# box, and loads of meat, potatoes, onion, garlic, and other seasonings to make my families hand-me-down recipes for korv, kielbasa and Italian sausages I haven’t had in years, as the horseradish was no longer out there. It’s a must for sausage making - eating really! It’s back am in my life. I need to get in the neighbor's to help. Make glugg, get raw and tinned fish, crackers and cheese, make sausage, have horseradish where even the men cry, and eat and share. Proper horseradish is back in my life! Bless you💕

I've had fresh horseradish from farm stands that made my nose hairs fall out. This is not that. But it is super tasty. And even for a higher cost, I think it is worth it. Good horseradish is hard to find where I live. McCormick and Beaver are readily available, and they are just okay. I personally am willing to pay more for this Atomic brand by mail, which IMO is far better tasting and quite a bit hotter. The plastic jar itself was bubble wraped, then surrounded in packing paper in a cardboard box - very well packed.

Nothing I didn't like about it. Although a warning to anyone that orders it... If you smell it, keep your nose at least a foot above the jar. Otherwise you will get an atomic rush that will clear your sinuses instantly! Excellent flavor! As hot as it is, it didn't overpower my tri-tip sandwich though. It was perfect.

I bought this for my husband, who has been on the search for a good, HOT horseradish for years. The search is over now. Right away after getting this my husband took a sizable spoonful, but quickly learned that moderation is better. (After I took only a tiny taste my eyes watered and I could feel it in my nose.) The good thing is that the heat doesn’t kill the flavor.

This is the best horseradish we have ever purchased - and we keep getting more! It is definitely hot and very flavorful. We have tried many versions, always claiming to be fresh and hot, but most are quite wimpy.This horseradish is a winner.

This arrived quickly and is hot like I wanted. Horseradish seems like it is always hot when you open it but then gets less hot as it sits. It lasts a long time do hopefully it will hold its heat
