Will I need anything else to install the kit if I want to run it to a separated horn button? or you're supposed to wire in to the stock button?

It really depends on what your putting the horn on, such as a car with an exiting relay etc. I put it on a toy 12 volt tractor that kids can ride on and all I did was go to the local automotive store and purchase a horn button. I also bought some wire and spade terminals which are cheap, and wired it up with just the parts that came with it except for the wire, terminals and horn button which totaled about $10.00 dollars. I did not use the relayand everything is working fine. By the way, they are loud!

Can the tone on this be adjusted? If yes, how?

By changing out the horns and increasing the air pressure. Which is not an option with these

Yes, the amp draw of the compressor is probably more then the stock horn.

Is it possible to get spare mounting hardware? I need the plastic shim the horn mounting bolt goes through.

Have a picture? Worse case scenario you can probably just make one.
