Good Entry Level Underwater Camera
I have a YouTube demonstration and review for this camera if you want to check it out here: https://youtu.be/s9sVVMKK_lQ. There are a lot of things I like about this camera and a few that I do not. The price is great, the camera is relatively easy to use and it works pretty well. The picture quality is decent considering the price (I think it is around 720p). There were a few things that drove me crazy at first. 1) When you record the files are in .avi format. I use a Mac and these files cannot be viewed by QuickTime or edited in iMovie. If you have a PC I think they work fine. I had to download a avi converter from the internet (I used fonepaw). There are some limitations for these converters unless you buy the pay version but I was able to convert my files to mp4. However the file size went down by about 60% and the videos were noticeably lower in resolution. Since I make YouTube videos and I need the highest quality video this was a big turnoff for me. Another thing I noticed was the record function was turning off on me at random times. Once it turns off it would not turn back on unless I disconnect the power wire and reconnect. When you start recording again you overwrite the files you already recorded (file 1 gets recorded over with a new file 1). This caused me to lose a lot of footage. To get around this every time before I start recording I go to the menu and toggle right to the "format" option - choose format and the SD card gets cleared. Then it will record without problems. I'm not sure why this glitch occurs but this seems to be a good remedy. Even if you think you have a cleared memory card you still need to do the formatting first. Overall now that I figured out these few quirks in regards to the recording I am happy with the camera. I will finish by stating the obvious - the water clarity has to be pretty good in order to have a good experience with this camera. The video I posted here was probably shot in ~ 10ft of water clarity.

Good picture at great depths.
It has great picture. You can tell by the video the differences in depth as far as clarity. All cables are labeled so it is simple to operate. There is a good amonut of initial twisting in the water as it come off said spool. Im looking forward to using it ice fishing this winter.

is no company name associated with the product to look it up on line.
Camera seems to be good clarity. The box is very top heavy when you take all the components out and just have the monitor in. We had to watch a youtube video because of lack of instruction in the box. Need to keep the battery in the box to keep the weight balance. We are going to use it ice fishing tomorrow. Will write another review then.

Not really for ice fishing
Screen cracked on first day. Cord is thin. Hard to keep camera in a location to fish. Have to be straight on to use screen. Sent back. Learned lesson to buy name brand for ice fishing camera.

Best bang for your buck!
This underwater fishing camera works great and simple to get running. The lithium battery that is included already has some charge, so it’s ready to use immediately. I’m glad the instructions were included, as I was confused as to where the SD card went to record videos. The quality of the camera is solid, as included in my review and the case is durable to take on fishing trips. Overall, it’s a great value.
