Feels like a steal for $50, good weight to it, nice ping sound. Machining is great, patterns looks good and the body/cap are aligned perfectly. Screws for the flame adjustment and refill are solid machined out of a single piece, threads work smoothly, easy to flip up the handle with your fingernail, no sharp edges or machining debris. Really exceptionally made for the price. Flame can get huge so don't open it up too much, great lighter!

Absolutely love this thing. The quality is way better than expected and it works flawlessly — zero issues so far. Lighter seemed decent quality out of the box, made a nice (rather loud) ping when opened. The probably started when filling the lighter with butane. Almost as soon as the butane touch the nozzle it being and then snapped off. Others don't seem to have this issue, but I would expect higher quality on a device this expensive.

Only have had it for a day, so I will update if things change. It is a nice lighter no doubt. The flame can go from tiny to a comically large flamethrower with the adjustment knob on the bottom. Changing the flint is easy, and it even comes with a little slot under the flint access slider that holds an extra flint so you always have a backup handy. It has a nice heft and makes a super satisfying “ping” sound when opened. I do wish there was a way to manually shut off the gas when the lid is open so that I don’t have to waste gas when changing flints or fidgeting with the top. I also wish there was a little gauge so I can see how much gas is left. There’s no way to tell when you’re going to need to fill up soon. Just for transparency, this seller is drop-shipping these and are not the actual manufacturer. The “Chief” lighter is actually a Chinese company and this exact same lighter can be bought directly from them on alibaba for ~$20 per unit.

Have only used this a few times but I am super impressed. It is easy to load butane and the flame adjustment is easy. You just flip a tab and turn with your fingers. I will say, the flame is HUGE on full blast. I turned it all the way up and the flame was almost 5 inches high! With this height the butane runs out extremely fast so don't keep it that high. -it has that S.T Dupont *PING* every time you open it -very heavy and solid feeling -lights on first strike 95% of the time -worth every penny!

Way more satisfying than it has any right to be. This lighter might not be the high-end brand it’s mimicking, but you wouldn’t know it from the feel. Make no mistake this is not an ST Dupont quality lighter but it makes a "ping" if you like that and has a good soft flame. I prefer to toast my cigar with a soft flame when indoors but don't always want to take my expensive Dupont. For the price its excellent especially considering it doesn't require special butane. While there is no fuel window due to the obvious ST Dupont copy design the fuel capacity is quite large. Good lighter!
