Great laptop
Razer makes good quality products (most of the time) and this is one. Performance is good. This doesn't have the best cooling of all its competition or the highest power limit, but it is a good compromise. The case is well made and a great size.

Terrible support makes this unbuyable
SSD died in a month. Which is fine, I get it... sometimes parts go bad. That's what warranties are for, right? Not for Razer.Laptop was boot looping to the BIOS; wouldn't even attempt to load Windows. Support recommended I try the SSD in another computer to see if that's the issue; I did, and it did not work in another machine either. I threw another SSD in the Razer and it booted up no problem, thus clearly proving the SSD is the issue. No big deal, they can just send me a new one right? Nope... They insisted that the only way I could get this replaced would be if I send the entire laptop in for "repair".Considering I already had the laptop up and running with another SSD (albeit slower and smaller) why would I send it in and have no laptop for weeks when they could just send me a new SSD? I even offered to send in the bad SSD first, but they said there was no way I was getting a replacement unless I sent the entire laptop in for repair.Absurd. I ended up buying a new SSD instead. Not worth being without my laptop for that long.Absolutely unbelievable to have a $3000 laptop with such terrible warranty support. Buying Alienware next time as I know Dell actually stands by their products.STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

Don't buy
Worst 3K I've ever spent. Was fine for the first month but after that it runs games about as well as the 10 year old Alienware I had before. Even with a fan pad bought cause I knew it would run hot. Constantly crashes more than any PC I've ever owned while running non gaming regular tasks as well

Grrat gaming laptop all around
I purely use this for gaming and sometimes work. If. you're looking for something you can use for work without it being plugged, this is not it. Battery life is atrocious (4-3 hours max) but that's to be expected for a gaming laptop.Temps are around 80-89 Celsius. Buy a cooling pad as well.

Bad displays
This is my second Razer. The first arrived with dead pixels and was eventually replaced. The second lasted a couple months and then the display stopped working. It is still under warranty but it’s been very difficult to get them to give me a RMA so I can get them to fix it.
