These are very nice socks for the price. They are cotton and very comfortable. They are also quite snug, so if you have big or muscular calves these may be too tight. These are also not as warm as you may want if you plan to wear them in very cold weather. I like to wear them under a pair of woolen socks when we have freezing cold weather. Be careful taking the sticky paper off of them, too. I thought they were irregular at first because the paper pulls at the knit. They fixed themselves in the washer.

These Avumtu Women's Wide Stripe Design Turkish knee high socks (5-pack) are wonderful. They are soft and comfortable. They fit well around my wide calves without being constricting, yet they don't fall down. The colors are as described. They did shrink a tad the first time I washed them, but still fit well. There is a seam across the toes, but it doesn't hurt or bother my toes. These are a good weight...not winter socks for warmth...and not too thin. I like them so much I'm considering buying the thin stripe set. I highly recommend these socks.

I have a woman's size 7 shoe with average size calves. I would size them more juniors. These socks were very difficult to get on over my feet/ankles and definitely not knee socks. This is before I wash them, after I'm sure they will not fit at all.

I am shocked at what good quality these socks are for the price. I have a very large calf and was very skeptical that they would fit. They fit, were comfortable and came right up to my knee without being overly transparent. No brainer for buying, I love them. They come in a lovely box and packaged cutely so would make a good gift. The only warning I would give is the tops and heels are different colours but the stripes are very similar on each.

Working in the lab, standing for hours is a considerable burden to even the very-well-trained lean legs I have. A nurse friend of mine recommended getting compression socks that are a must item for nurses. I never tried them before, and when I searched compression socks on Amazon, there are so many different kinds and of different brands. I gave socks n socks a try because I liked the designs. The shipping was fast, and each 5-pairs ( I bought 2 sets of 5 pairs) came in a neat package. The quality is great, and they fit perfectly. I walk around for hours and hours at work and ride a bicycle, but the socks remain knee high and do not come down, giving a steady good pressure to my legs. I have been wearing them every day to work and absolutely love my socks. The colors are bright and haven't faded after washed many times in a heavy-duty warm-water cycle.

I just got my socks today and put on a pair for my evening walk with the dog. It has been over an hour and just getting home and they are in the same position! I have a ton of knee socks that are at my knees when I first put them on but after walking for 5-10 minutes, they are sliding down and slouching. Not these socks and I'm so excited. As you can see in my pictures, my calves are pretty big (I guess) 15 & 1/4 circumference) and they haven't budged. I also like the pretty patterns, they spice up my walking outfits!

I bought these for my wife a few months ago on Amazon. Aside from the great price, my wife raves about how comfortable they are. Another bonus....After many washes, they have not shrunk, faded, or lost their elasticity.

These socks are wonderful! Because I saw nylon in them, for some reason I thought they would be ... the only word I can think of right now is "sleek" but that's not what I really mean. I guess I was thinking more of a poly blend. BUT these are SO soft, the nylon and spandex only adds to keep them up around your calf, which they do. And I washed them first (I only washed them once before I wore them, but they had great fit after a wash and some socks I've had never do). I REALLY like these socks, and the color combos are great. This is exactly what I was looking for. Very soft, stays up, not itchy, great colors. I definitely recommend these. And for the price, you can't beat them!
