Don't purchase these
BUY THE BRUSHES ELSEWHERE AND USE A NOGA PIN VISE! The quality of the holder is laughable. One of the collets doesn't fit any of the brushes and they look like Chinese handiwork branded as made in USA. For the price I was extremely disappointed and will never purchase anything from BRM again. Honestly the only reason I gave this two stars was because the brushes themselves were decent and held up well.

These are high quality brushes
I bought the metric set rather than this SAE one but I thought I'd drop my review of them here since they are functionally the same items:They sure got the miniature part right - the 1mm and 1.5mm are incredibly tiny, amazing that they can even craft a metal bristle brush that small. BRM is high quality in just about everything these sell and these brushes are the same. It's hard to find tiny brushes in metal and the little nylon ones sold for carb or paint nozzle cleaning sometimes don't have the stiffness needed. I would have rather had these in brass but those don't seem to exist. The pin vise is standard fare china with a laser etched BRM logo...two double-ended collets and you'll need three of those ends to cover the range in this set. The pin vise is actually decent quality. Bristles are quite stiff but used and sized correctly they'll do a great job - shaft stiffness varies by size with the smaller ones being pretty bendy. The really negative review on the SAE kit for these is rather ridiculous, imho - these really are great brushes with the only negative being the high price for the set and I guess it would have been nice to have a storage tube or something. There's another set on here from a company that I can't recall, but it's a few bucks less with a different size range not including the smallest in this set from BRM. Well worth buying if you have the need for these and the quality is worlds above the vast majority of twist tube brushes out there from overseas.Edit to add a thought: I own several high quality pin vises from Starrett, B&S, and a nifty one from Tamiya (Japan). I don't know why anyone would want to use a nice pin vise with these brushes and risk scoring up the collets to where they may not function well in their usual applications. All you need here - if you need it at all - is a holder to give a little better finger grip and prevent slipping or cutting skin on the cut ends of the twisted shaft. Although the vise include really isn't bad at all, it way more than serves its purpose - it's good enough that you could confidently use it with bitty wire gauge drills, imho, although this is not my preferred style of pin vise for drilling.
