Medical feeding tubes get stuffed often and require a cleaning. This is the perfect tool for that job.

This is great to have on hand if have a PEG tube. Got this after one of the nurses, at the hospital my husband was in, got his tube stopped up with medicine. Very nice hospital, but they had no way to unstop the tube. My husband then had to have an operation to replace the tube costing $13,000.00. Will never be without it again.

Unclogging the feeding tube was a tedious process trying to get pipecleaners far enough down without loosing them was a pain. Often that process would take 30 minutes to an hour depending on my luck. I whipped out this tool and 5 minutes later we were feeding again. Love it.

Very happy with the Tube Declogger

For its named purpose it works great. How often do your tubest get clogged? I try to use it to clean residue from my tube but it requires a lot of bending an twisting to make it clean. I wish they sold a brush that does that. If you want a declogger this is a good one but expensive for a tool that's used so seldom.

The item pictured is actually not the same size as the item listed. The orange declogger is smaller than the 20/22 fr which is actually the light blue one. I ordered without checking size bc each color is a set size and only one company makes these. Didn’t make a difference as the feeding tube was changed out for an even smaller size prior to the arrival of item which was also bent by the post office to fit into my box anyway. Have used these many many times though to declogger tubes. Just make sure you get the right size and length.

I tried this out when my peg tube clogged. It did not work and was difficult to use. I would not recommend.
