Very good modern take on the original version

I was always a big fan of the original All Creatures Great and Small and at first I was a bit sceptical when I started to watch this new adaptation of this television classic but I have been totally won over with the new version by really good acting by Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Callum Woodhouse, Rachel Shenton and Anna Madeley who play their characters so well and the lovely storylines. I just can’t wait for when series 3 and 4 comes out. I would definitely recommend this 😀

This is a brilliant version of the classic, and I like it much more than the one from 1970-80. The characters are interpreted slightly differently, and are more lively and less rigid. Many thanks to the producers and the actors/actresses.

Enjoyed the videos, being a fan of All Creatures Great and Small. Shipping was fast considering it was being shipped overseas. However, I was disappointed in the quality of packaging as one of the boxsets was broken. I had to put it together with scotch tape.

Wonderful remake of this series. Downside we had to purchase series 1 and 2 together to get the important Christmas special. We now have a surplus series one to give away. Hope when they make series 3 and issue DVD the 2nd Chistmas special is included without purchasing previous series.

I liked ever thing about this video. I am in awe of the acting, directing, sets and every thing I have not mentioned. It is outstanding and I keep asking myself "Why don't we have acting like this. The actors are amazing. I find myself lost in the time and place. Please lets have more of "All Creatures Great and Small".I have received my copies of the Series 1 and 2 and will add to my library. Per chi ha letto i libri di James Herriott e li ha amati questa serie è imperdibile! Non è ancora stata distribuita in Italia, quindi i dvd sono solo in lingua inglese ma con i sottotitoli i dialoghi sono pienamente comprensibili. Unico neo, manca lo speciale natalizio della seconda stagione. A parte questo, è una serie divertente, commovente, rasserenante. Il cast è davvero molto azzeccato, i personaggi sono ben caratterizzati e una volta iniziata la visione non si smetterebbe mai!
