Thrush17630 Welded Muffler

I've tried 4 different mufflers on my 2012 Ram R/T Express trying to find the one that makes the sound in my head. This Thrush welded is that noise. It's killer! I had it welded in place with the factory tailpipes and it's perfect. No drone or that "clapping" backslap you get with chambered mufflers. No flubby midrange like a straight through acoustical material packed muffler. Just sounds like a hot rod should to me. And for the price, it's really a no-brainer. If you have a stock, tuned, modified, or full out race truck with the 5.7 HEMI, you'll like this piece.

Installed this on my 2013 Ram 1500 hemi. It sounds amazing and sounds the way a hemi should. I went to the local auto parts store and purchased an 3" pipe 18" long alone with a few clamps and it was a done deal. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's throaty and aggressive but still quite at idle.

Made my stock Ram sound a lot better. Nice rumble without being too loud.

I haven't had a chance to install this yet, I'll let you know how it works when the job is finished.

This is a great muffler. Sounds good. Fits in 2017 ram 1500. Just take stock muffler out.
