More of a Dry Erase Board that a Chalkboard.
Produce received is more of a dry erase board, just need white pen. Chalk can be used, but does not show up very well.

Good product
Built my own dart cabinet out of scrap fence board material, and needed a score board to finish the job. This unit was perfect size and price, and mounted easily. Writes on/erases off chalk easily. Only down-side is it requires me to use my public-education math skills to do the math in 501!

Not a chalk board
It seems like it is a eraser marker board, not a chalk board. Went out and bought chalk, was not able to write on it. Dry markers seem to work on it. Not really the product it is advertised as.
