I had issues the the first training collar but the company was kind enough to trade it for a new one. That unit operated as advertised.I especially like the range on this collar and the fact that you can instant choose whether you are using sound, vibration or electrical shock. That is important if the dog is running into a dangerous situation (bolting across a street) and needs to be stopped immediately.Many of the other collars require going into a "Mode" feature and clicking through until you may select the electrical shock setting. By that time, a pet may be injured or killed so time is of the essence here.The other important feature to me is that it is waterproof, not water resistant. My dog loves to swim and this waterproof feature adds another level of safety if the pet is headed in the wrong direction to exit a pond, lake or pool with a high bank. It's easy for a pet to get into serious trouble quickly if he has been training hard and tries to exit in the wrong area.

Haven't used it yet but am confused because I thought I was getting two collars. It shows 2 collars on the picture, says train one or two dogs and even reviews said there were two collars. I even ordered a second "set" for a family member :( . I am charging it now and will update after use.

My dog has long hair (retriever /chow chow) so I had to make sure the prongs had contact with her skin, she is a WHOLE NEW DOG! She follows her nose ALL THE TIME! Now I just say her name when I see her pick up a sent and she's right beside me in a heart beat! I've had it over a month and only had to shock her maybe 5 times, she responds to the vibrate as well. I live by a busy road. with no fenced in yard so this is PERFECT!!!! Love love love. Can not say enough good things, she loves to roll in the snow, trust me it's waterproof!! The battery lasts forever on the remote but always make sure the collar is charged! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Worked great for two months, then one of the clips on the collar broke... now it's a paperweight until I can figure out how to fix it...

After reviewing ALL my options for "fencing" in our yard and the final option of having a professional come in ($1059!) I decided to take matters into my own hands. Life. Changing. Let me reiterate. Life. Changing. For $45 instead of $1059! Or even $200 for the wireless or DIY. Finley has been off his leash all day yesterday (except the night time pee) and this morning and has done AWESOME!!! He was running around with the kids yesterday having a blast!!! I have only had to shock him twice. But usually the beep stops him and if not then the vibration. He knows now what's coming next. It's amazing. I also bought the boundary flags so he would know where I actually want him to stay. The shock is definitely intense on the lowest setting... I tried it and it made me drop the collar. Luckily he responds to the other options! The only change that would make this better is if it was easier to change the settings on the intensity quickly. I didn't take a star off for this only because we saw such great results so fast. It's so great not having to deal with a long leash! He's so much happier!!!

The collar worked great for the first month or two and then it stopped working. Charged the collar and now it wont turn on. Dog hasnt been around water and the charge port has been covered. Upset I can't send it back. Because it is over the 30 day return.

Works great! Dog responds to different levels of correction. This purchase was a replacement as the transmitter berlt clip is not very effective and the first was lost! We ended up putting a string on it and wear it around our neck. Might be nice if they included a ring on the unit for such a purpose.

This works AMAZING as a training tool. I use it with a rescued pup we adopted who had some SERIOUS issues chasing goats, horses and cats while we were at the barn. Obviously chasing horses is extremely dangerous for a dog and much more dangerous than any shock the collar administers to the animal. After a few days of consistent use (shock on the 2nd lowest setting and vibration at the highest setting) she's gotten a lot better staying away from the other animals. Walking off leash and ground manners have all improved after using this devise as well. This is a training tool and SHOULD NOT be used long term. Too many people have commented when we are out walking her about how cruel it is but after she learns what the tone and vibration means, it's helping her understand what's acceptable and what's not. Great tool when used properly
