Very good telephone set.
Replacement set. Excellent phone system. Very easy to set up. Good clear sound. Highly recommended. Definitely worth paying more for it. I have had several other cheaper sets and they really aren't as good. The only reason I had to replace it was because I had kittens a few years ago who have now grown into cats. When they were little they kept knocking the units and the main answerphone stand off the mantlepiece and table! The units took a bit of a bashing as a result.

Good product & performance
Well made, quality product. Good sound performance. Installation & programming are reasonably straightforward, although User Guide could be made a little clearer for some advanced features. One relatively minor issue with sets of 2,3,4,5 or 6 handsets; when storing directory numbers on one handset, you'll need to copy / paste onto every other handset (versus other products where directory is stored centrally for all handsets). Sound quality on (answer / recording) base unit is very tinny (not good), although you can retrieve messages from handsets which delivers much better sound. Overall quite impressive and recommended, although rather expensive.

Excellent - easy to set-up and functions are great
We have a 3 story house and having six handsets makes life easier to cope and to contact anyone in the family wherever they are in the house! Plus all calls have a better chance of being answered before the call goes got answerphone and we have to ring people back.

The best
Bought a older version of Gigaset. That then was perfect. Changed to VoIP and my old phone laboured. Bought this one not knowing what to expect. Easy enough to set up. To my surprise it was easy and to my great delight the answer machine kicked straight in. The volume of this phone is brilliant. Just so pleased I bought this having read the few negative comments. Great buy!

Good phones - tricky to set up
Now they are set up they are OK. I wanted phone with raised tactile buttons as lost tips of some fingers in an illness - these are good in that regard. Full of functions and not the easiest to set up with the full handbook - available online - going to about 70 pages.Would buy again but only if I couldn't find something a little simpler with the same sort of raised tactile buttons.

Very happy with these 2 phones
Good answerphone. Discrete, small red light flashes to notify of msgs left or missed calls. Easy to use. Easy to block unwanted sales calls etc. No awful beeping to notify of answerphone msg....this is a big deal. You can intercept a msg being left, if you miss the rings and don't reach it in time to stop the answerphone kicking in.

Good for what they are
The product is on the more expensive end of the spectrum £175. 00. For four phones ( 1 is the base station phone plus three others ) Quite easy to set up once you play with the settings etc and I did not need to read much of the instructions however if you are not used to electronics or menus to set up things it will definately confuse the uninitiated or your granny . Once you’ve set it up the first phone with time and date and chosen ringtone and paired it to the base station it’s easy from there on as the second third and fourth phone automatically take the time and date etc from the first phone during the pairing process— easyPROSGood reception around the house in different rooms from the main base station even for larger homesNice big numbers and keypadClear display that even flashes red if you miss a call when out ( even if no message left )Rechargeable batteries included in box for all phonesActually made in Germany whether that makes them better quality or longer lasting remains to be seen8/10 for ease of set up.Sound quality is good during useCONSprice £175 is up to double other choices of branded offering ( notably Panasonic etc ) for a similar set upBuild quality is no better than a Panasonic quad set I bought 15 years ago that this replacesRingtone choice is poor , there is a choice but not any great choices very average and uninspiredVolume even at max on ringtone / speaker or earpiece could do with just being a tad higher as the population ages and hearing is not what it once was ( not deaf or using a hearing aid you understand ) it could be difficult to hear clearlySome options - receiving texts , calendar mode for appointments etc and alarm setting to be honest is overly complicated , features that 99% of users will never use and frankly a waste of timeConclusionRecommend 8/10. Is it worth paying this quite large premium ? I don’t think so it’s at least 40% to 50% more expensive than similar offerings but is in my opinion not worth that premium in reality
