Petstages Firefly Mat

The product doesn't light up when touched, you have to be quite forceful with it to activate it, and it takes many attempts. The lights blink really fast and last about 10 seconds each time. My 2 cats weren't stimulated by the lights at all. I thought they would be, as they like laser pens. Maybe if the lights were red like a laser pen it would have at least caught their attention. My cats also like slow moving things to hunt, the lights are fast with no speed settings. I have many different toys for my cats but this is their least favourite. The only use for the mat is for a place to lay on, with the hot weather the material is quite cooling so my cat does lay in it sometimes. I could have bought a cooling mat twice the size for half the price though. This product is not worth the money I spent on it.

A lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it works well and it keeps my kitten entertained. There is no on/off switch so needs to be stored somewhere where it won’t get knocked when not in use, otherwise it will just go off and start flashing lights. Not really worth the £20 I paid, it’s more like a £5 product.

Expected a much better quality for the price. Kitten nonplussed.

It's pretty cheap, the material is very slippery so it just flies around everywhere propelled by kitten feet. The kitten is barely interested.
