Knafs - Leather Strop and Strop Compound for Pocket Knife Sharpening

I am always impressed with what Ben @ Knafs is able to come up with. I like to maintain and sharpen my own EDC knives and was looking for a leather strop that would be easy to help keep a razor sharp edge. This perfectly-sized leather strop has worked wonderfully on all of my knives so far. From my small Baby Banter all the way up to my Spydiechef, I am able to strop them back to a shaving sharp edge in about a minute! The small size of this strop means I can keep it in my EDC "drop zone" and touch up my knives when I return home at the end of the day. When traveling, it also packs nicely in my backpack and is readily available. This is a great addition to your sharpening system if you are looking for something cheap, that works well, for getting that final razor sharp edge on just about any EDC knife!

This is a great little leather strop . I mostly just keep this to use mostly if I’m on trips and I keep on in my work bag to sharpen up my work knife or I should say to touch up my work knife. It is small so this is not ideal for like kitchen knives or overly long knives but for your standard folding pocket knives or small fix blades, this works great just to hone your blade. It includes the compound, but I prefer to use a different brand of stropping compound but for just an inexpensive on the go option, I would recommend this. This makes a great field use strop.

I have a few strops but got this one as a field/ pocket strop. I try to strop my knives before they get so dull I need to use a ceramic/diamond stone.A Spyderco s45vn PM2 is my edc and this strop and compound has gotten it back to razor sharp. Strop size is 1”x6” but useable size because of the eyelet on my strop is 1”x 5 3/16”, which works fine for my PM2, cutting edge a hair over 3”. This strop seems to be good for a cutting edge up to about 4” (Bark River Gunny) but I doubt it would be easily usable for any cutting edge over 4”. The packaged boxes give good instructions if u need them. Made is the USA is always a plus for me, support your family, friends and neighbours, or the family and friends of your neighbours.

Perfect strop compound for travel

This little strop from Knafs is GREAT. I have it in my hiking and camping kit, loaded with green compound. It's doing a wonderful job of keeping my knives razor sharp in the field.

Works perfect for travel/camping. It's not going to do a perfect job, but will work well enough for it's size that I can't complain.
