Hunter Women's Huntress Field Boot

I’m 5’2 with athletic calves and these fit great! Perfect height and plenty of room in the calves. They look great on! I normally wear shoes size 6.5, so I ordered a size 6 in these. Still really big. But I’ll just wear extra thick socks this fall/winter and it should be fine. I’m very happy with my first pair of Hunter boots! Glad I did the research to learn which style works best for my body type.

Finally found my fav hunter boots. Wider calf, dark olive color (tired of black, dark olive goes with everything too), plain label (not the trendy Hunter label, this one is classier), flexible material, comfortable.... my new fav. I sold all my other rain boots - had a pair of le chameau as well. Love these huntress boots. I’ll be wearing these on our farm and out for years. Thx!

I read others' reviews without even thinking to measure my own calves and compare it to the boot measurements! With that said, I have ridiculously large calves, and I underestimated them. I read that these boots were great for the lady with the thicker legs... to be fair I have gained some weight... and if this diet actually works out I will hopefully fit in them once I'm through, but having two kids has really done a number on my legs! (the pregnancy "swelling" never really went down for me) REGARDLESS of this, I am still giving a 5 star review... I don't believe any normal person has 16"+ around calves LOL I am able to get them on to say that they are very comfortable to wear on the feet, and I agree with the other reviews that you should size down! I am normally an 8.5-9, I went with a size 8 and they're perfect, with even a bit of wiggle room. They're also a little bit of a lighter green than what the stock photo looks like, which I was hoping for! Great boots, that hopefully don't stay on the shelf because I love them!

The reason i purchased these was because i read that it was a wider calf area however these still did not work for me. They fit, but there was no room between my calf and the boot, it was tight. When i measure my calf at the widest point its 15.5 inches so if you are at that size or above i wouldnt recommend these. I did end up purchasing the Hunter mid calf rain boot with adjustable back and those worked great!

These boots arrived right on time. The workmanship and material are superior. I have large calves so I was concerned about fit, but the top of boot is large enough so my calf and pants can get tucked into the boot. I am also very glad that I bought this particular boot, the Huntress because I am 5'5" and a taller boot would have gone above my knee. This boot falls about 2 1/2 inches below my knee (boot height ~13 1/2 inches) which is perfect. Love these boots.

I’m 5’1”. The original talls hit right in the middle of my knee. This boot is the perfect height for me and still gives that long lean look I wanted. The additional calf circumference allowed for my athletic calves. I can wear these boots comfortably with leggings or jeans. I wear a 5.5 and ordered the 5 and they are a great fit. I was disappointed these boots didn’t come in the gloss finish, but once they arrived, I truly love the look of these boots. They have more of a satin finish than a matte. Give these boots a try if you are a shorter lady.

I have wanted a pair of Hunter rainboots for the longest time. I did my reseach and finally decided to purchase the huntress pair. For reference, I am 5ft tall. My calves are too large for regular riding boots but too small for wide calf boots. The huntress fit pefectly over my calves with enough room for a pair of long sock or skinny jeans. The boots hit 2 inches below my knees. I wear a 6.5 -7. Read other reviews and ordered a 6. Fits great.

These boots are great! I am on the petite side, with muscular calves, and these fit perfect! Normal Hunter boots hit right at my kneecap, and create a suction around my legs making them incredibly difficult to get off. These, not a problem! And they sit about 2" below my knee. Dark olive is a gorgeous color, which I have paired up with the greige fleece liners. I read reviews that said they wouldn't work in Huntress boots, but they work just fine if you ask me. A+ purchase. If you're on the fence about getting these boots, do it.

I love Hunter boots as they feel so well made and go on forever, however in common with many women I have strong, well developed calves this means that I cannot get into the standard Hunter boots they sit dissapointingly wrinkled around the ankles so the Huntress with adjustable side buckles and extra rubber / fabric inserts at calf level take away this issue. They are still snug and take a certain amount of grunting and groaning to get off but now they look good too.

Really good just what I expected. Great wellies and fab company to deal with. Would use again
