These are absolutely wonderful. I personally use them for photographing shoes, and they make that job a lot easier. They are very well made, a strong material and great quality. The size is outstanding and ranges to fit a large number of shoes. They are easy to cut down if you need to do that. Outlined and marked so you can trim with no fears of ruining them. I'll more likely buy a few more for some taller boots in my closet to prevent them from creasing, or having them played down flat. Which to anyone who organizes their closet is a visual nightmare.

These boot shapers seem to do what they they are designed to do. It's a simple design, you gently bend the plastic sheet into a roundish shape and insert it into the boot. I bought these to store my taller knee boots for summer (when I won't be wearing them) and they seem to be working. These do have perforations to make the shapers shorter for shorter boots but I don't have any shorter boots so I haven't tried to shorten them at the perforations. It doesn't LOOK like it would be that difficult but from the other reviews it looks like others seem to have issues with doing that. I would imagine that using scissors to cut along the line and then using a nail file to smooth the rough edges would fix that issue but again, I haven't done it. To make sure they reached the bottom of the boot I had to pull them out a couple of times, roll them into a tighter roll, and then stick them back in. I assume if you did this frequently, they might break at those perforations. So, if you plan to take these in and out a lot, you might want to get something a little more substantial because it's not quite as simple as shoving something like a fat foam pool noodle down inside the boot. With the way I'm using the shapers, I don't think the forms will break at those perforations any time soon.The loop on the top seems to be just to help you pull the shaper out of the boot, not to hang by. Because of the way these are designed, there is nothing holding the shaper in the boot except the tension created by the plastic form trying to go back to its flat position so they would just pull right out if you tried to hang it by the loop at the top. Because of the type of plastic these are made of, I would expect these to degrade in direct sunlight or prolonged exposure to hot temperatures and eventually crack, break, and crumble. Kind of like that cheap plastic lawn chair on your back porch with the broken leg. But, you shouldn't be storing your leather in those conditions anyway.While I NOW understand that "Cedar Fresh" is the name of the company, it's a bit misleading. I expected the forms to have some sort of cedar scent and they don't; they just smell like plastic. That is fine, just not what I expected.Overall, these meet my needs but if you will be reinserting these often, you might want to go with something a little more substantial.

This is an excellent solution and I was skeptical before.

I wanted to replace my old plastic boot trees and stumbled on these shapers, was skeptical due to the low price but got them and blown away at how easy they are to just roll and stuff in my tall boots! Best purchase ever, and sooo inexpensive. Highly recommend them! Get them now!
