Perfect alternative to those wooden sticks that cost the same price. They're telescopic for easy loading and storage. I appreciate the storage, for sure. They're of decent quaility for what they are, and they don't look like they're straight out of China, (even though they probably are). I'd say they're a good value.

I bought these to replace similar items that were lost. I am happy with the length and stiffness of the sticks when they are extended, they should support a hot dog just fine if you don't fling it around a lot. My previous sticks were able to rotate using the colored ring while holding the wooden handle but these are fixed in place, but that doesn't bother me at all. For the price, these work great.

Bought these for a recent camping trip and they worked great. We roasted marshmallows and hotdogs with no problem. They are a little Bendy, but not bad at all for the price. The different colors were also a nice bonus. They held up great and I will be using them again next camping trip.

My wife loves to set around the fire and roast marshmallows. As soon as cold weather sets in she buys a big bag and we do it regularly until spring.We have a couple of long metal sticks that we have used for year's, but we were going to have friends over before Christmas and she wanted to have enough sticks for everyone. They came in a little carrying bag with a draw string for storage, transportation, camping, or whatever.The nice thing about these are the are telescopic, so plenty long for toasting marshmallows without toasting your fingers. They are easy to store in any drawer or cabinet, or take on a camping trip or to a party.I will say that if you intend to roast hotdogs with them they are a little flimsy with something that heavy, especially extended all the way out. Having said that they will do it. Just be smooth, no quick swinging movements and they can handle the weight just fine. For the money these are a great tool to have for fun around a fire. I would buy them again, and or give them as a gift.
