I have purchased this model previously and have been very happy with the product.I do have a need for the second one, not because the first one failed.This is a little pricier than other products , but you do get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and don't try and cheap out on a different product. Keep in mind that this Vantec product is BOTH data and charge capable and not just charge or just data......

I refunded this because it didn't work and the lights didn't work either, I tried plugging to wall or computer usb, neither worked, so I refunded tried again, and it didn't work so I refunded for my money back, terrible I bought a plastic one that works, and works alot better. For less money.

It does its job and the ability to mount it is great. The lights are subtle and useful.
