I did not order this for a TV stand although that's its advertised purpose. I have this "SPACE" just as you come in from the garage across from my laundry room which has turned into a DUMP SITE. I wanted something with storage but a space on top. (If it looks "pretty" on top maybe I won't use it as a dump site.) I wanted shelves across the entire space and doors on part of it. After all, some things just need not be displayed. I also did not want doors to open. I wanted sliding doors because I could just see myself in the garage. Forget something and head back into the house in a rush and bust one door -- ruining it. I also like to decorate with a bit of a farmhouse (I was raised on a farm and it's my nostalgic decorative side :-) ...This fits my requirements 100% (which included specific measurements). The instructions were good although my son had a better idea for doing the first section. The Allen wrench that comes with it is okay to use. Other needed tools are a regular screwdriver, a power screwdriver (it will speed the process), and a hammer. It can be done by one person but there are times in the assembly that make it a LOT easier if a second person is available.Yes, I recommend it. I'll post a picture once I get the top "prettified".

Took a few hours to put together, but we took our time. Very sturdy and well constructed. Amazing for price.I put my plants and hydroponic sets on it in front of a 5 foot window. We put 2 nice boot trays that just fit on the top to protect the wood and keep supplies underneath. Perfect height, but also would make a great tv stand. We love it. Putting together just takes patience, and well worth it. I might have added some glue to the top dowels to make it a little stronger, but don't plan on moving it Just a little advice.

I really liked the look of this cabinet, and I was debating between this one and a nearly identical one (with only a fifth of the reviews). I was hesitant because some of the reviews/pics on both mentioned the product was damaged when it arrived but decided to take a chance on this one. I'm so glad I did! The box arrived pretty banged up but the product itself was in near perfect condition. The only issue was that one of the ends of the black plastic sliding track for the bottom of the doors was broken off. Luckily, the piece was inside the box and I was able to pop it back into place and the doors slide back and forth with no issue, even without gluing the piece down. That couldn't have happened during shipping, though, so it was definitely sent from the seller that way. Overall, though, it feels very sturdy and looks high quality, and can fit a surprising amount of things on the shelves. In my pics, I don't have the back board attached, but it comes with 6 pre-drilled holes, one for each shelf, for cables to feed through. For size reference, I have a 55" TV mounted over mine.Assembly: The instructions were pretty easy to follow and it wasn't hard to assemble. It took 2 of us about 2 hours. One tip: the instructions say to attach the male camlocks, then attach 2 pieces of the furniture together, then insert and secure the female camlocks. We found it was much easier to insert the female camlocks *before* attaching the 2 pieces together because some of them need a bit of force to get them into the pre-drilled holes.

Although putting assembly this product as a non fancy DIY person. I definitely tried to test my own patience level and this proved me completely wrong cos I thought I couldn’t finish it when my partner and I started it. Best believe after 2 hours of screaming in each other while doing this, we decide to leave it a bit and come back to it after eating dinner out. Everything just fell in place when we came back to it. We love the end result but look like not as much as our daughter. This is definitely a win-win and I personally feel great that I found this here on Amazon and decided to go for it after reading all the beautiful reviews. I always encourage everyone to read reviews first when in doubts.My only fear was seeing some people receiving their order arrived/ delivered with damages here and there and the complaint about how difficult it is to return. But I went for it anyways and no regrets whatsoever.
